artygirlz 74/butterflies & okieladybugs sketch challenge

hello :) hope youre having a super fantastic day :) this card is for this weeks challenge over HERE at artygirlz. the theme is one of my favorite things, butterflies :) this is also for okieladybugs sketch challenge, this week sarah arnold chose our 2 sketches.
noth challenges were loads of fun :)
for this i used my cricut and 50 states (magnolia cut at 3 2~1/2 and 2 inches layered) and wildcard ( wording @ 3 and 3`!/4 inches layered) and jasmine (corners @ 4 inches) cartridges. i used martha stewart punch for the butterflies. the gorgeous paper is basic grey porcelain. i also used colorbox chalk pad to color the leaves and added a little to the flower cut also. thanks so much for taking the time to look at my stuff:) hugs shelly

happy thursday :) this is for this weeks fun sketch challenge over HERE at CCC and
over at hallmarkscrapbook ( HERE ) the theme was to use the flowerframe from our wild card cartridge. the wording is also from wild card. the butterfly is one that came in the paper pack, which is basic grey porcelain. pretty paper! i added a couple of robins nest dew drops and some colorbox chalk/ ink. thats it . thanks so much for taking the time to visit me here :) have a lovely rest of day :) shelly

flowers by paper blooms and okieladybugs sketch challenge

hello and thanks for stopping by my blog. this is for this weeks card motivatinsketch challenge over at the cricut website. this week kims gave us sketches to follow.

life is good BBTB

this weeks challenge from regina over at bitten by the bug was to use LIFE IS GOOD from our cricut and graphically speaking cartridge. i also used walk in my garden for the iris' and tulips. i added some florist sponge inside the box and glued crafters pics (thick toothpics) between the back 2 layers of the flowers then poked the flowers thru the sponge so theyd stand up straight. i added some mossy stuff .. the bees are a stamp i just used a glue dot between 2 layers to get them to stick to the wire. the butterfly is a 3d i was gifted but dont have the company name to. the lady bug is a little wooden one my daughter gifted me.
the template from the box i got from splitcoaststampers ( type in round back box and you'll find instructions. i requested permission to post on my blog but havent gotten a reply back yet) i do have the pdf file . it is also supposed to be on the SU demo website.

for this i used my cricut and the negative space from the butterfly on the indie art cartrdige. i added some ink and rhinestones. the inside says for letting me sprout my own wings. simple simple 5 minute card :)

for this i used my cricut and wild card cartridge. the yummo paper is basic grey porcelain. so pretty! my darned paper trimmer went all evil on me so this went from a sort of elegant looking card to shabbed up one. at least the paper is pretty :)
