happy friday :) this is for lauras sketch over at 2sketches and another for the cuttlebug spot whos theme is christmas in july. for this i used my cricut and zoobaloo (penguins) and joys of the seasons (hat ( i added liquid pearls to that) ,scarf and mittens) cartridges
the snowflakes are cuttlebug i added some stickles to them. . paper is daisybucket.

happy friday :) its snowball fight time!!! oh how i wish.. its been so warm here in CA, im ready for fall , my favorite time of year :)
this is for the great sketch this week over at SS and for the cuttlebugspot whos theme this week is christmas in july
for this i used my cricut and zoobaloo (penguins) cartridge. i handcut the trees and used broken crafters picked that i inked for the tree trunks. i added robinsnest pearl dewdrops for the snowballs. the snowflakes are sizzex that i used in my cuttlebug i so love that little green machine! i added rhinestones to centers of flakes, stickles and theb/g paper the penguins are on i used a lizzie designs snowflake stamp. a fun little card :) thanks for stopping by to look :) have a great fun weekend! shelly

PaperBlooms peek a boo challenge

happy wednesday! its time for paperblooms again yay! be sure to join in our challenges as we'll be picking a featured card .. wow!! how exciting is that! it could be YOUR card! yay yay ..play along for just plain inspiration AND fun! go check out our featured card by maureen! wow!! what a great card she made :)
this week the lovely leah chose for us to do a hidden message on our project.
i used my cricut and wild card (tree/frame feature)) and plantin ( grass/flower stems cartridges) the gorgeous blooms and the sweetest butterfly in the tree were made by leah and so was the cute lil surprise inside the tree :)
finishing touches include basic grey pearls, memory box pearls(smaller ones) ladybug stickers and colorbox fluid chalk. the gorgeous paper is memorybox .

happy monday :) this is for this weeks sketch challenge over at CP be sure to go check out the great cards over there.
for mine i used
my cricut and jasmine(corners), storybook(marquee) walk in my garden(flowers) and stretch your imagination cartridges. i added basic grey pearls and martha stewart punch butterflies and inked with cokorbox fluid chalk. paper is dcwv (garden party)

It's Blog Hoppin Time over at Bitten By the Bug!!!!

happy monday!!!!! WooHoo it's Blog Hoppin time over at BBTB !! keep reading and eventually i'll give you all the info on my give~away :)
first , our challenge this week over at the bug was to use our going places cartridge, using the man and woman cut. actually there are 2 cuts i chose the seperate ones, i havent seen what the other DT ladies used i hope i did the right one! lol the lovely gracious regina probably wouldnt tell me any different im sure she just shakes her head at me sometimes ;) i so appreciate her tact with my dorkiness :)
so what i decided to do here was make his and hers page markers. do you and your sweetie sometimes read the same book and that knucklehead..errr, i mean honey of a guy fold the page corner down or fold the page in half! to mark his place (drives me bonkers!!) or forget whos bookmark is whos then you have to re~read to find where you were..... yeah right dear hubby the one with the hearts and ladybugs is yours.. well maybe now he'll have a clue right :)
what i did was use the card feature with this cut (you could just cut a rectangle, total size of this is 4X2 if your just using a regular cutter)
i cut this twice and also blackout feature for the background color so it would be sturdy plus i adhered magnets on the inside between the background color and the inside cardstock layer. that way it snaps shut and is secure. i hope that makes sense :)
for the mans marker i hand~stitched up one side and added the word journey from my graphically speaking cartridge.
for the girly one i used graphically speaking for the word imagine a flourish and a flower. i hand~stitched up the side of this one also i also added tiny butterflies from a martha stewart punch. i also used my colorbox fluid chalk pad (darkbrown)as you know i love my ink :)

happy sunday:) this is for this weeks sketch challenge over at FS.be sure to go check out the great DT sample cards. my moms best friend has a twin brother who adores horses so she asked me to make a birthday card for him using the word twin and horses. the horses ,flies and happy birthday are all cuttlebug. i embossed then sanded the birthday panel. of course had to make the girlie twin horse with a bit o'pink :) paper is cosmo cricket/wanted. i used my cricut and jasmine (corners) and zoobaloo( grass cut several times and layered) cartridges. thanks so much for stopping by :) shelly

happy thursaday :) i again combined a couple challenges. the first being the sketch over at craftycreations . i forgo tto add again in my post over there that this is for their design team callout..grrr. the 2nd being a theme of using a tag over at charismacardz and lastly over at cutecardthursday the theme is to use eyelets.
i used my cricut and tagsbagsboxesandmore(tag and tag envie) and walk in my garden (flowers ad foryou)
i added memorybox tiny pearls to the flower centers added some fiber and ms punch butterflies and also used my cuddlebug to emmboss the green paper. paper is k&co.

happy thursday :) this is for the cuttlebug spot bloghop fun this week. youre to check out the blogs, taking a peek at past techniques choose your fave and create away :)
this is also for dannis dreams which was to create a scene but using no designer paper. that was hard for me as you KNOW how i love pretty paper!
AND i just found out about this new challenge blog paper cutz i havent read all the details as to entering a project but saw the theme this week is pink and brown and figured id enter this before i forget , if it doesnt fit their rules oh well ill know better next time right :)
i love to emboss and sand.. so i chose this technique for my card. i used the stylized flowers folder( my fave) and sanded. added memorybox pearls to the centers of the flowers. i used my crict and walk in my garden ( caterpillars) and jasmine (corners) cartridges. the butterflys are a stamp and the sweet crocheted butterflies were handmade by my design team leaderleah over at paperblooms.

happy wednesday :) this is for the fun sketch over at ICS and the color combi challenge set ovet at PTW which was use certain colors...any combo of choosing.i chose pink black yellow and white the bg paper the sentiment is on the hearts and corners are all done in yellow and white paper. which is all from K&Co smitten pack..my all time fave of theirs.
i used my cricut and george (squares, rectangle and hearts) wild card ( hearts along the bottom) and jasmine (corners) cartridges.
i used some colorbox fluid chalk and pop dots under the first and last hearts on the right and the middle one on the left.

tuesday morning sketches #3

happy wednesday :) this is for the awesome sketch over at tms
for my take i used my cricut and christmas cheer ( snowman negative) and jasmine (corners) cartridges. I used just the negative cut out of the snowboy and added his extras.. hat scarf and nose. i used a mix of orange and cinnamon stickles on his nose. added rhinestones and a su stamp. paper is sei alpine frost. hope your day has been a crafty fun one :) thanks for stopping by to have a peek :) selly

365 cards day 143 and ABC x on a sketch

happy wednesday :) day 143 at 365 was to make a smpathy card but no sentiment on the outside. and over at ABC the theme was the sketch design plus use an x on your sketch.
i chose to use a dragonfly as they symbolize rebirth etc...
i used my cricut and george (circle and flowers) and camp out (dragonfly) cartridges. paper is basic grey and i added b/grey pearls and a tiny amount of stickles to the wings.

2sketches4you kazans 31 using stampboard aspoonfull of sugar 61/swirls plus 365 cards day 144

this week over at 2sketches kazan drew up this fun sketch.. their DT is also showcasing a product called stampoard which i have so i also used on my card. for all the details on stampboard go to the 2sketches site where they have the info. you can do so many things with this product its a lot of fun to play with.
this is also for this weeks challenge over at ASOS whos theme for the week is swirls be sure to go see the oh so cute cards by the DT there .
and lastly this is also for 365cards day 144..ras eme up..showing 2 different dimensions on a card..so i used popdots and the stampboard is also a little thick which adds dimension :)
for my card i handstitched some paper, colored the stampboard with alcohol inks then adhered a rhinestone holographic butterfly sticker.
the other 2 b/flies are 3D pop ups. i dont know who makes them or where to buy them as they were gifted to me and the package says nothing. the sentiment is SU stamp. i also used my cricut and home accents (flourishes) and graphically speaking (flowers) cartridges. i added pop dots for dimension under the flowers basic grey pearls and used colorbox fluid chalk. paper is prima.

happy monday! this week over at BBTB regina challenged us to use the ice cream cone from Indie Art. this is one fun cartridge! as an extra special treat.. leah from paperblooms who is my other awesome design team leader is sponsoring bitten by the bug! she makes the most magical crocheted blooms butterflies and more so be sure to go check out the awesome way the BBTB gals used these blooms and be sure to check out leahs etsy shop.
