happy Monday! its the end of one hot month here in california and what a fun way to end it with a BLOG HOP with regina and some of the other DT ladies over at BBTB ! you probably just arrived here from ivys place...what a talented lady is she eh! good luck in her giveaway..
regina this week had us use the banner from the PaperPups cartridge..can ya find mine on this card?... yep i turned the cut into a flower :)great eye youve got there! i did the cut 6 times then just adhered them together easy easy :)

happy thursday :) this is for 2 chalenges. one being over at TMS melissas theme this week is a color challrenge..eggplant certainly celery and kraft.. i dont have any of the SU cardstock so went as close as i could figure .. i also dont have any kraft colored paper so i just used a gold/brown color and inked up with colorbox fluid chalk. the awesome sketch is from PTW 's sketch this week. be sure to go have a peek at both places :)
for this i used my cricut and happily ever after (rose) home decor ( forever) and jasmine (corners) cartridges. i added a text script stamp, pearls a hatpin i made buttons and a charm and colorbox fluid chalk. thanks so much for stopping by :) xx shelly

for my take i used my cricut and zoobaloo cartridge the cute lil lions mane is where i placed my crocheted bloom .. isnt he just adorable! i also used my beyond birthdays cartrdige for the hearts and arrow. i computer generated the saying and added a corner from sizzix. thanks for stopping by today :) shelly

happy wednesday:) it's time for this weeks challenge over at CCC this week our theme is the farm. be sure togo check out what the other DT ladies came up with... there's the cutest set of pigs you just have to go see :) and jamie is offering up some goodies.
for my take i used an adorable sheep from the cutting cafe reginas got some marvelous printables in her shop all very very affordable so be sure to go see what she has.
i also used a sketch from papertakeweekly , a challenge site i play along with every week i love this sketch with all the layers.
i added some buttons, ran one of my panels through the cuttlebug divine swilrs folder i also used my cricut and jasmine cartridge for the corners. i computer generated the text. thanks for looking :) have a fun day! shelly

Bitten By The Bug owl challenge

happy monday! HOOT HOOT another day for a BBTB challenge :) be sure to pop on over and see what fun stuff regina and the other DTladies did with this cute lil owl from the wild card cartridge!
i made sucker covers for this challenge. i cut the owls using the card feature and just folded them in half over a flat sucker, then i stapled them shut. added a little bit of ribbon to the candy sticks. cute ..what do ya think? :)

papertakeweekly 100th challenge AND papercutz

happy sunday :) this is for 2 challenges, one being PTW whos celebrating their 100th challenge. yay them! the challenge is to pick your fave sketch and go with it .. although ireally love all the sketches at ptw i chose from challenge 25 sketch 8 by katharina. i love to match paper together , and i think this is just a neat design for that.
the other challenge is from PaperCutz whos theme this week is something that flies...
i used my cricut and home accents (dragonfly/flower and text) and jasmine (corners) cartridges. paper is pink paislee vintage moon. the very back black background paper is plain black cardstock stamped randomly with a flourish stamp. thanks for taking the time to look and thank you PTW for the fun each week! shelly

tuesday morning sketches #7

happy thursday :) this is for melissa's cute sketch over at TMS this week.
i saw a stamp set from close to my heart that i fell in love with.. had it in my cart and thought..waaaaiiiittttt! 24 bucks for a set of stamps ..when you already have stamps you can create this idea with..so i saved myself some money today wahhoo me! i used my cricut and jasmine (corners)and george (heart/wing) and graphically speaking ( fabulous) cartridge. the sweet lil bird.. first i used a flourish stamp for his tail, hand drew the legs, cut a triangle for its beak added a tiny basic grey pearl for its eye added a heart as a wing then glued the button onto the paper, how easy is that! i think he turned out pretty dang cute :) i used some colorbox fluid chalk on this and some buttons paper is basic grey/wisteria. thanks for looking

the cuttlebug spot invite challenge

happy thursday :) this week over at the cuttelbugspot the theme was to make an invitation. well, last week i won 3rd place in a contest they were having. i received 4 new embossing folders how cool is that! i didnt know which ones id be getting .. but nilda must have been reading my wish list in my mind because i received ones i wanted..especially this fabulous owl one! thank you so much nilda:)
so... i created an invite ...a couple of friends and i get together on the first day of autumn as its our fave time of year. inside i listed the get~together info plus a small list of the food/drink prep each gal needs to bring.
for this i used cuttlebug owl folder..obviously ;) which i sanded , also the leaf and pumpkin which are the cut and emboss folders. i added some little flowers , rhinestones for owl eyes computer generated text and inked with colorbox fluid chalks. i also used my cricut and jasmine cartridge for the corners. thanks for looking :) shelly

cupcakecrafts 53 and die cuts r us

happy thursday :) this week over at CCC they are celebrating their 1st birthday! yay!! happy birthday CupCakes! their theme is to do something sweet and add a cupcake for a bonus. well whats sweeter than a yummy capcake and butterflies! ( ok my kitties are scowling at me, we'll add them to the sweetest list just not onto our card ) add in butterfly kisses, and sweet cupcake wishes.. a perfect day right:)
over at die cuts r us their theme was to use the colors teal brown and white/ivory and use your fave coloring medium. where most of you do the copic markers, gamsol etc.. my fave technique is just my good friends.. fluid chalks :) i usually use patterned cardstock for my cuts and just color/accent
with the chalk pads..this might not be exactly what the challenge was as far as the coloring..but its my fave :)
for this i used my cricut and wildcard cartrdige (cupcake) the butterfly is cuttlebug
i cut an extra antenna from the butterfly and used that as a stem for the cherry, which is a red kaiserkraft pearl. paper is dcwv green stack. teal colored rhinestones are $bin item thanks for looking and have a great day :) shelly

tag#1 : george (flowers) and home accents (flourishes) cartridges. finsihing touches lace with a tiny bit of ribbon, a hatpin i made, basicgrey opaline pearls and hero arts heart pearls. the butterfly is a stamped image (delta,little butterfly 291A) cut out. colorbox fluid chalk. paper is by creative imaginations.

happy tuesday :) this was done for 2 challenges, one being the cute cute sketch from kazan over at 2sketches the other challenge from PC the theme being halloween BUT no orange or black...whaaaaaat????! lol you galz thought you had me on this one eh! ok ok you did because everytime i chose a color..i matched black to it..grrr! lol oh i loved the challenge :)
for my take i used my cricut and george(oval), minimonograms(scalloped square), paperdolls (ghosts,spider),paperpups (boo) and pooh and friends (witch hat) cartridges. the sweet lil bear is a GoKreate die (binkie boo). the corners are sizzix. paper is by crate.
