  our cut this week is the cute bunny from winter woodland cartridge.   i also used jasmine cartridge for the corners and doodlecharms for the hearts ( from the envelope)  i think the card speaks for itself.. had some help from my ever funny daughter ,thanks brandi!  oh the paper is from a pack she gifted me too :)

papercutz masculine goes pink with gus

happy friday!! this week over at PCC our theme is a masculine birthday card.. using PINK.. oh thanks mary lol gosh this was such a challenge! until i saw this digi stamp over at bugaboo ( theres a link on my side bar) then i KNEW what i was going to do :) this is gus...ohhes a funny old coot!  gonna tuck a gift card to a department/clothing store and give this to my stepdad as my moms always on his case about how he dresses. ( wont make points with mom but oh well ;) )
for this i used my cricut and doodlecharms cart for the sun. added cloud9 raindots, and paperglaze to his eyeglasses and beachball..basicgrey paper. quick and easy:) thanks so much for looking :) XXXshelly

this is a tag i made  using a digi from bugaboo.. notice the lil heart on his hiney..how cute huh! i also used my cricut and george ( tag) and walk in my garden(daisies and stems) cartridges. i added m/stewart butterfly punch , foam dimensionals, ribbon, handcut  grass, stickles and colorbox fluid chalk.

  the next 3 creations are using digis from my sponsors on the CCC blog...

this is from a set called social butterflies. this is one of my favortie sets.  i used the circle phrase, it reads love is like a butterfly it goes where it pleases and pleases where it goes. the hearts are not included on this i added them as extras (  using foam diminsionals for depth) using my cricut  and wild card cartridge,i also used this to cut the doily shaped card base. the butterfly is one of several beauts included with the SB set. the piece it is sitting on is a cuttlebug folder i  embossed onto coordinations paper then sanded. i added pearls and colorbox fluid chalk and a bit of doodledots with acrylic paint. regina made this project so easy with this blissful set :) yo can see it all over at the cafe :)

 

 

next  is rogerbear from lauren at  ellephantastic.. youve already seen this cutiepatootie on the CCC blog.  is he just adorable or what! look at that cute little heart on his foot, too sweet  :)  i water colored him then added some colorbox fluid chalk. used my cricut and winnie the pooh and friends cartridge for the balloons added buttons and black pearls for rogers eyes. b/g paper is crate.

and last but not least this sweet fun playful kitty ( my fave) from kristy at oddgirlplanet   isnt this just so  cute how she has kitty playing on its back having  a ball :) thank you sooooo very very much kristy!
for this i printed the digi then again onto basic grey sugar rush paper, cut that out and pop dotted it over the main image for some depth. i added rhinestones for eyes and put a couple of buttons down. thats it..:)

happy wednesday :) this is for 2 challenges

1) ASFOS whos theme is freestyle

and 2) DCRU who has a use ribbon thing going on.

for this card i used my cricut and beyond birthdays (hearts) and jasmine (corners) added brown polka dot ribbon plus some tiny pompom ribbon , chocolate colored pearls and buttons thats it easy peasy but pink and brown.. oh you cant go wrong ;)   thanks so much for popping in  have a great rest of day :) XXXshelly

Happy wednesday :) this week over at CCC our theme is a valentines card using the colors green , lavendar, black and white only.
what great colors they are together dontcha think! be sure to go check out the other DT  creations as always they do a grand job!
for this i pulled out my dcwv old world stack. i used happily ever after (hearts) and jasmine (corners) and george (squares) cartridges.

happy monday! this week over at BBtB2 marina has chosen our challenge, the stamp cut from the sweethearts cartridge. im still impatiently.. i mean patiently waiting for mine to arrive in my mail, but the dear sandi has come to my rescue,sending me enough cuts( and an absolutely to die for card ) to hold me over :) thank you so much sandi!

for my card that ill probably send off to my dad i used my cricut and the stamp cut from sweethearts, the hearts are the cuts that go with that. i also used zoobaloo for the bear, i folded his lil paw over the stamp so he doesnt drop it. and wild card for the XO's. added a little doodling a button colorbox fluid chalk foam diminsionals and computer generated text on the hearts. (sending you bear hugs and kisses and valentine wishes. arent i just poetic ;) hope i inspired ya even if just a tad :) have a great fun day XXX shelly

 

 

Paper Cutz Challenges #25

happy friday :) this week over at PCC  our theme is a digi or handstamped image using a farm animal.

a friend sent me this sheep image  it was a free download and she cant remember where she got it from  so if you know where this came from please tell so i can give proper credit.

i used my cricut and george (square) and jasmine cartridges (corners) .

i added hero arts pearl hearts, $bin pearls (eyes)  stickles and colorbox fluid chalk.

die cuts r us

happy thursday :) this is for this weeks challenge which is a sketch over at DCRU the dt has some mighty fine samples up so be sure to go check them out :)
for my take i made a tag... this is one of those let your paper do the talking  things. isnt it pretty!  its from memory box new gossamer line.  i wanted it to stay serene looking like the bird.   i used my cricut and home decor cartridge for the bird then popped him with foam dimensional.. i inked with colorbox fluid chalk. added a metalframe  pearls and martha stewart punch for th etiny butterflies. added pink and blue sheer ribbon..thats it. easy easy .

the play date cafe

happy thursday :) well i finally got my blogger issues fixed as far as a bazillion windows popping up ..so i can go join in at a really nifty challenge spot ive been checking out.  over at the PDC theyre having a color challenge . the dt whipped up some very awesome samples if you need more than color inspiration.
so heres my first attempt , hoping  they like it :) sorry  about the pics being dark its very dark and rainy out today so no good lighting.

happy wednesday! this week it is my turn to host the CCC blog. i sure hope you come and play along.. come on make me look good purtty please :) yep im beggin lol
the theme i chose....valentines or love...yeah  i know i  stunned ya with that one didnt i ;) 
the sweet korin from sweetandsassystamps agreed to sponsor us this week, our winner will receive 3 free digis how nice eh!  im very pleased to say my former dt leader leah from paperblooms  designs for SS AND a couple of her stamps went to rubber! yay leah!!!!!
korin graciously sent the DT a couple of images to play with  the one i chose is called blowing kisses how cute is this lil guy!
along with him i used my cricut and accent essentials (hearts) walk in my garden (stems) and zoobaloo (grass) cartridges. my extras include cloud9 raindot hearts, hero arts pearl hearts and colorbox fluid chalk. paper is basic grey bittersweet.

cricut cardz challenges

happy wednesday :) this week over at CCC mary has chosen our theme to be a thinking of you "S" fold card. if youre not sure how to make one mary has a tutorial you can check out here

i got my brand new basic grey paper origins in the mail and couldnt wait to use them :) so pretty!

i used george (flowers, layered them) and home accents (scrolls) walk in my garden (butterfly on outside  and thinking of you on small inside panel) cartridges. the other b/flies are martha stewart punch ( the stamp and punch i just didnt use the stamp)

my extra ingredients include basic grey opaline pearls colorbox fluid chalk  coordinations paper ( on front of card i pierced around the edges) rhinestones and the inside sentiment is a SU stamp.

over at Aspoonfullofsugar their theme is lots of layers be sure to go see th ebeauties the dt has sampled for ya.
i thought this  sketch went well with that .
for my take i  used my cricut and indie art cartrdige ( lock and key)
i added colorbox fluid chalk, basic grey opaline and hero arts pearls and also some lace. paper is my minds eye.

happy monday!!! this week over at BBTB2 krista chose our theme the snowman from doodlecharms.
hes such a cutie :) so now i already hve 1 christmas item for this year :) woo hoo me! thanks krista )

what i did was make a tag . the bird and branch are from winterwoodland and the snowflakes are cuttlebug. the wording is from the cuttingcafe (christmas ) 
for extras i included memorybox  jewels ,$bin rhinestones and pearls,   stickles,   colorbox fluid chalk, buttons, ribbon and hat pins.
