heres our  challenge this will run for this next 2 weeks also.

2) a color challenge :plum,blue. neutral kraft ,beige or chocolate and optional cherry.

3)and use a recycled element.

i used basic grey and  memory box papers and memorybox stamp

my cricut and jasmine cartridge for the corners and added colorblox fluid chalk. my recycled elements are the crocheted flower and

one of the strips of paper and the stamped butterfly piece that i had made for another project that didnt turn out quite like i wanted.

for my  quickie card i went a little off the sketch but thats the way the mind works sometimes right :) i used my cricut and indie art cartridge for the bird. paper is k&co and stampin up. i added pearls, liquid pearls and colorbox fluid chalk.thanks so much for looking have a great rest of day :) XXXshelly

bear cards

happy tuesday. my brat asked me to make a card for a friend of hers whos not feeling well. i went for whimsy..but this lady is a tattoo artist and whimsy is not her style it turns out  . my daughter loved the card but i know  rolled her eyes as she asked  mom... how bet adding some edge to that to fit her personality.

hard to make a card for someone when you know nothing about them really :) but its all good and fun :)

the bear is my daughters fave bear, hes a die cut from go kreate. and he is a cutey for sure!

i used my cricut and george cartridge for the balloons and the heart. oh shoot i noticed on card 2 a sticker heart i added the word mom to ( this lady has a tattoo of this on her arm) has disappeared.. off to find another after i post.

so.. anyway i ended up not wanting to scrap the first card so i made 2.  i never ever make 2 of the same cards. the only thing different is the papers and on card one i lightly stamped dragonflies and flowers. onto and card 2 i added MS punch butterflies. the edgier paper is memorybox. card stock is SU cherry cobbler and wild wasabi.

happy monday :) this week over at BBTB2 our challenge is to use the gingerbread from the Just Because cartridge. another i dont own, so i substituted , as well as you can too, using very merry tags.

be sure to stop on by the blog to see what marvelous projects the rest of the dt has come up with. as always youll leave very inspired! 

for my project i altered some little bags. i found this mouth watering gingerbread caramel crunch, added the recipe to the back of the bag.  

my extras include

buttons and ribbons and color box fluid chalk.  easy peasy yet fun and festive dontcha think :)

happy wednesday :) this week over at CCC  our theme is a color inspiration. ooh such soft pretty pastels :) i love this one! be sure to pop on over to the blog and check out the photo and how it inspired the rest of the DT  and play along with us! lets see how it inspires YOU!

my dad passed away november 6th :( so this card is going to his wife. shes really sweet about luvin my cards so i know shell really appreciate this .

the gorgeous paper.. and oh wow isnt it ever!  is from memorybox. my fave paper company :) i cut out one flower from another of the same paper and adhered it over the original image. added basic grey pearls to centers of each flower. the butterslies are MS punch. the sentiment is SU. i added a little bit of colorbox fluid chalk and a couple more pearls at two corners. so simple..but with MB papers you dont have to do much..let the paper do the talking :)thanks so much for checking this one out hope your day is lovely :) XXXshelly

a crafty little place tag challenge

happy tuesday :) this week over at ACLP the challenge is to make a tag. so ive been so inspired by tim holtzs 12 tags of christmas this was my chance to take some time and make a couple using my cricut machine. i used joys of the season cartridge for all the cuts. except for the tags which i used very merry tags cartridge. i added colorbox fluid chalk, stickles pearls and ribbon  for the poinsettia i cut 2, cutting one 1/4 inch smaller and layering.  these only took about 5 minutes each but dont they look more time consuming. sort of a gift themselves :) so... hope ive inspired you if only a little :) thanks for taking the time to hang with me..off to make more tags :) have a super rest of evening and ill see ya tomorrow :) XXXshelly and as always your comments warm my heart :)

my poor kity passed away this morning :(

well this year esp the past  few months  has just sucked it hugely! thank you so much  GOD and brian , i feel so effin special.

heres a pic of the fuzzypunk...on my side bar hes the kitty in the basket. he was 18 and a funny lil guy. hes now in kitty heaven with axl and izzy. like them, we will miss him forever..
heres one of my fave pics..duffy is trying so hard to be annoyed with baby roary...he hated all other cats lol, but oh my he fell madly in love with roary!

happy friday :) this week over at PCC our challenge is using either a snowflake or snowman any colors. .this can either be handstamped, a digi image or a cricut image. be sure to head on over to the blog and see what the rest of the fun design team has come up with this week and of course be sure to play along with us!

for my card i used my cricut and when its cold outside (3~D snowflakes) and jasmine (corners) cartridges. the smaller snowflakes are a marvy punch.  i added rhinestones and a dab of stickles to snowflakes.i used colorbox fluid chalk,  dcwv  and SU cardstock.

fantabulous cricket challenge blog

happy tuesday :) this week over at FCCB their theme is to create a handmade gift or gift package. for my project i made a gift box, 3~D heart and a little note card. i used love struck for the box, which i added acetate behind the cut out heart plus cut little hearts and hand wrote the little sentiments. ill fill the box up with candy hearts  and kisses. i added my favorite little bunny from paperdolls , added a hero arts pearl heart for his nose. the word sweetie hes holding is from love struck. hope ya like this :) thanks for stopping by and hanging out with me. have a great dayXXXshelly

happy monday :) this week over at BBTB2 our challenge is using santa from the winter frolic cartridge. i dont own this cart, so i used christmas cheer whimsy santa instead. remember if you dont own the cart set for our challenges you can use what you have :) be sure to go check out what the rest of this fabulous design team has created for you :)

for my card, along with santa  i used Christmas cheer for the scroll

for my daughter

 happy sunday to ya :) my daughter is decorating her xmas tree gothic style and asked me to make a few things for her. i used my cricut and paper dolls cartridge for this cute little vampire bunny. the bat is cuttlebug.
for the moon and witches i used cricut and  george cartridge (circle/moon) that i colored with colorbox fluid chalk. a childs year for the large with, cuttlebug bats and MS punch for smaller withches
for the tag i used cricut and very merry ags (tag), paper dolls (spooky tree) the withches  and catare all MS punches. the spider is cuttlebug i added purple stickles to that.

for my tag i used very merry tags (tag ) ,doodle charms (house and the shift key from the star ornament for the smoke from chimney)),christmas noel ( trees) and stretch your imagination(birdhouse)

happy wednesday :) and happy december 1st! toda over at CCC our project is a gift card holder. i found a easy to follow tutorial by jen caputo. if you borrow her idea be sure to give her some luv :)

i used my cuttlebug for the snowflakes, which i added rhinestones to. the snowmen are cut from patterned paper. the message is SU. i hand cut the hills. added colorbox fluid chalk and snowflake stickers and colorbox fluid chalk. super simple but oh so cute dontcha think :) thanks so much jen! have a great rest of day and thanks so much for taking a look here and comments are always appreciated :) XXXshelly
