here was a cute itty bitty kitty i knitted for cardztv challenge from feb 3rd. for some reason my blog posts were'nt publishing. i got this pattern from loomahat. im new to loom knitting which i love! i can crochet pretty good but for some reason have a hard time with the tension with knitting using needles. if you have this issue try a loom and i adore densise over at loomahat. theres step by step video tutorial for this project plus others. theres also utube vids from others, i just learned from denises vids and im loyal :)
i think this would be cute for a kitty adoption
just look at this cute little face..arent you in love! i am ;)

i took an unfinished wood heart shape and painted it with a grey color and let it dry. then i took some petroleum jelly and put it where you see the grey color. covered the entire heart with a purple paint. let that dry then wiped over the entire heart with a paper towel. the p/jelly resists the top coat. nifty technique :) i then stamped my saying using the "love ya"set. i left a space where you could add in kittys name and adoption date.
you can purchase this great stamp set ~>here<~
thanks so much for checking out my blog, your sweet words are much appreciated! have a great rest of day and happy crafting! XXXshelly
