happy wednesday! today is my turn to host at the cardz tv gallery . i'm sure you've been having a blast checking out all the top awesome projects my dt sisters have been showing ya! it's just a couple of days until thanksgiving and before we know it christmas will be here. so i decided to show you a couple of christmas things i've made. all the stamps i used are from mary's cardztv stamps and can be purchased ~> right here <~ you're welcome in advance ;)
for my 1st project
i made a tag or ornament.
i took a round coaster and added some lace and punched piece of paper
the snowflake is cuttlebug cut and emboss. i added a pearl to the center and added some glitter stickles, some pompoms and ribbon.
i used this sentiment from the "very merry" set.
for my next project i made a christmas card
i'm sure i saw something similar while browsing pinterest. i hand cut some triangles and tree trunks from cardboard then wrapped in twine added some buttons and pearls, handcut some snow hills and stamped with snowflakes and inked it up a tad.
the sentiment is from the "very merry" set also
my next project are also cards
i used my fave line of prima stamps. jack and jill.
i just think these two are the cutest :) this is the first time using the christmas ones
i made 2 cards with them just different colors.
the one on the left i used the utee cracked glass effect and the one on the right i used utee but only layer of it.
heres the cracked glass effect. i love the old worn look and the colors i used really went well for the style. i added some snowflakes with pearl centers. i used my viva decor pearl pens.
heres the other card
i used swiss dots embossing folder for the matting and some snowflake stickers and added rhinestones
i used the same sentiment on both cards using the "very merry" set
for my next project i made a cookie box using a 12X12 piece of cardstock. here's a tutorial i found
i added a goofy looking ornament i made. i just drew out a gingerbread man onto thin cardboard and then in self adhesive cork (tim holtz). i inked him up til he looked baked, sprayed with my spray adhesive and "sugared" him in chunky glitter. i then used some twine around him added buttons and using viva decor pearl pens added eyes nose and mouth
i used "very merry" set on unfinished wood stars. i inked them up a tad.
for my last project i made a very easy little treat holder. i found this easy to follow tutorial
i think these would look cute sitting on a plate maybe adding the guests name on a little tag attached under the bells
i used a little hole punch , tied some bells with hemp twine and tied in the back.
i used a martha punch for the sprigs and added ice crystals (epson salt) and berries using viva decor pearl pen
i used "going in circles" for the sentiment and heart.
thank you oodles for the blog visit, your esweet words always make me smile, thank you for that too!
i hope ive given ya some fun christmas themed inspiration :)
happy crafting and have a blessed thanksgiving! xxxshelly
