merry christmas

happy thursday :) this is my last post for the year at cardz tv gallery . the rest of the girls have really put out some awesome projects haven't they! be sure to keep stopping on by there daily where you'll see new projects from a different designer, except for sundays.

today i'll be showing you 4 projects i whipped up quickly. after this i need to do my christmas shopping. nothing like puttin that off until almost the last minute eh ;)

my first project is a test tube hot chocolate gift /popcorn gift set 

i took 4 tubes and added popcorn kernels to one tube, homemade hot chocolate mix to another, itsy bitzy marshmallows ( found at walmart )  to another and then crushed up some  peppermint candies to another.

 i just wrapped a piece of burlap around them and added a bit of ribbon both secured with double sided sticky tape 

 i frou~froud up the top with some christmasy stuffs

and cut out a little mitten for a tag and added a bell  the sentiment is from "the very merry" stamp set . i used a cute tiny clothespin to hang the tag. 

my next project is a card

i used a cuttlebug folder for the back matting then a random stamp for the swirl

i inked this mat  up a bit in white and brown and added a pearl and the sentiment which is from the "very merry" set

some lace flowers and twine to finish it off.

my 3rd project

a little beary cute home decor setup using pinecone trees. for the bases i covered hairspray lids with paper. used a glue gun and made swirly designs on the one on the left , and used a metallic paint on it then  filled them  with moss then hot glued the cones on top

i added epson salt mixed with chunky glitter for the frost and used red viva decor pearl pens and jewelry making pearls for the bling

the cute lil bear was a gift from my daughter years ago. 

i used a sentiment from "christmas critter captions" 

and for my last project, another card

for this i hand cut a stocking. made the corners from a circle i just cut in fourths. 

added a punched branch and used viva decor pearl pen added some lace and then  buttons

and the sweet sentiment from the  "very merry" set
