cardztv gallery altered cutting board

happy wednesday! i goofed last post. it wasnt my turn to showcase a project..im such a huge dork! so.....now that my calendar is straight lets get down to business. i made 2 things for you .  :)  i altered a cutting board that my daughter had given me a few years ago and i made a card.   be sure to check out the designer gallery every day as a new project by a different DT lady is showcased. i have some amazingly talented DT sisters for sure! 

i covered this with packing paper then painted that white then added some brown . after that dried i scuffed it up. i then added some frou frou to it.

i then added this stamp. its from the stamp set "just sayin" this awesome set plus tons of others can be purchased ~>here . youre welcome in advance :) 

here's the card i made

the flowers were made just by layering different sized circles. i used a distressing tool along the edges then inked them. ( i used spun sugar distessing ink ) i then added brads to the centers. 

for the sweet sentiment i used a stamp from the "think" spring set.
