happy monday! it's my turn to showcase a project over at cardztv designer gallery. everyday we have something fresh from a different design team lady. it could be anything so be sure to pop on over and check out the awesomness.
today i have 2 quick projects for you . i hope you like them .
first is an altered bag. i made enough for everyone who will be attenting thanksgiving dinner with us . they will be filled with candies and nuts and a little note expressing why i'm thankful/grateful for them
i used die cuts for the leaves and inked them up. although i didnt do it on these leaves a nifty tip to give them veins and texture, run them through your embossing machine with a spider web folder.
i added a button ( underneath the fold i added a glue dot to keep the bag shut) i then added some floral stuff, for the berries on the branch i alcohol inked up some white pearls then hot glued them onto the branch. i tied the bunch together and glued it to the bag.
for the faux stitching i used a stamp from the "basic borders" set and the sentiment is from the "count your blessings set. ill set ya up with a link of where to pick this set plus all the others at the end of my post.
my next project is a christmas card.
i used one of my embossing folders and a snowflake diecut.i added some rhinestones. the sentiment and blue stamped snowflakes are from the stamp set "naughty or nice"
cardstv stamp sets i used
they can be purchased ~>here<~
