my first post for cardztv design team! cute as a button

happy friday :) i have some fun exciting news to share :) the fabulous and ever so sweet mary from cardztv has asked me to be on cardztv design team!! woo hoo yay lucky me!!!!!thank you thank you ;)

this week our challenge is cute as a button and you know how that works im sure, just create and add buttons :)

here's the card i made

super simple guy card/gift card holder. i used my cricut and george cartridge. i cut and trimmed squares.

i added faux stitching to the pocket and collar added some brads just because the pockets needed a little something. i used thick foamies underneath and tucked in a gift card. added my buttons

and this little sentiment which is from cardztv set simply said set. marys stamps are just awesome so be sure to pick some up from her shop. lots of cute sayings with each set and they  stamp out perfectly.

first is a card i made

my card base is  SU cherry cobbler the panel the wreath is on is kraft card stock which can be purchased at  thekraftoutlet.  i stamped and  inked up with white from SU . i used my cricut and jasmine cartridge for my corners.

the wreath stamp is from memorybox. i added MS punched branches adding pearl berries using viva decor pearl pen. i also used viva decor glitter liner and added some clear rhinestones.

i used one of those random dollar bin stamps.

for my second project i made a gift card holder using a kraft bag which can be purchased at thekraftoutlet.

i added a clothespin (thekraftoutlet) which i covered in chunky glitter. used the MS branch punch and viva decor pearl pen again. i also covered the bag in distress paint(clear rock candy) and stamped snowflakes on it. added seam binding and canvas border strip both of which you can purchase at the kraft outlet)

i stamped right on the canvas tag and also painted it with the rock candy distress paint.

happy wednesday! this week our theme over at CCC is school's cool. make a back to school card. you can use any cartridge and colors.

i actually made a gift card holder. i think this is a great gift for a teacher as they have to buy supplies out of their own pockets. im sure they appreciate any help they can get.

                        i used hello kitty for the books and apple cut, create a critter for the cute lil                              wormy and plantin for the abc123.

happy monday:) this week over at BBTB2 our beyond words talented donna has chosen our challenge to be numbers. you can use any cartridge for this and any number or numbers. just make sure your project is a new one k :)  

i made 2 cute little gift card (or money) holders . it just takes one piece of cardstock and then whatever patterned paper and embellies ya want to add.  just click ~> here <~ to get beth moore's easy peasy text and visual instructions.

i used create a critter and george cartridges.

 

i used 2 sets of stephanies stamps  from whimsical designs for the sentiments 

  the gift card fits nice and snug . it goes in farther..further?  i just wanted you to see the pocket.

heres the inside. i didnt embellish this one up since i dont know what it will be used for. 5 bucks..am i cheap or what lol

i used some pop dots under the cow and number 4 the wording is computer generated.

i used tree background paper to signify money doesnt grow on trees . my dad used to say that all the time and when i was making this that kept echoing in my head :) hed be proud of my $5 cheapness for sure lol shoot hed probably pocket it and replace it with a dollar :) oh wait,  not his dollar im sure hed ask me for one ;)
