i used hello kitty, george and home decor (hope) cartridges  for this.
 i added a few rhinestones and set kitty on an action wobble. ( wish i could photo that action for ya, its really cute with this cut)

i used the ampersand ( &) from george for the ribbon , i just snipped off the bottom parts.

bbtb2 breast cancer support

happy monday :) this week over at BBTB2 our fabulous brenda is our hostess and shes chosen our theme to be a project using any cartridge to recognize breast cancer awareness month.

i chose to make a card and lil gift bag maybe frm a little daughter to her mom or aunt or grandma..whoever.. to remind them to get a checkup or if theyre battling  breast cancer or have survived the battle .

i used hello kitty and george cartridges. i dont have a cart with a ribbon so i just used george ampersand, and cut off the bottom parts.

added some rhinestones and white pen doodles. i put pink candies into the bag. and hand scribbled the sentiment.

happy monday :) this week over at BBTB2 our lovely and talented stephanie has chosen our fun challenge. make a shaped card using any cartridge and theme.

heres my shaped card, thanks for the fun challenge stephanie! 

i used hello kitty cut at 5 inches i just love her and her friends :) i made a lil  mini gift bag. my daughter whos 30 still loves hello kitty too so ill probably buy a little plant and give this to her. 

for the bag i used hello kitty for the flower which i cut at 3 inches. the bottom border is a martha stewart punch . i added some crimped paper and some bendable floral wire (paper coated) and tiny clothespin . i handwrote the tag which is a 1 inch circle punch.

hello kitty hello winter :)

happy tuesday :) i made this card for a couple of challenges
twisted tuesday challenges whos theme is cooling off with the twist of inking
and creative card crew whos theme is christmas.
and DLART whos linky party is still happening :) ( im sure shes going bonkers with all my posts over there lol :)

for my card i used my cricut and ever cute hello kitty cartridge.

i think ink is my middle name ;) i love the look 

the snowflakes are from a punch. i added stickles to them and snow~tex to the snow mound which i also inked. i think i may add some stickles over the snow tex but afraid it might take away from the vintagy feel too much..we'll see.

the stamped sentiment is from whimsical designs snow much fun set.

happy wednesday! this week our theme over at CCC is school's cool. make a back to school card. you can use any cartridge and colors.

i actually made a gift card holder. i think this is a great gift for a teacher as they have to buy supplies out of their own pockets. im sure they appreciate any help they can get.

                        i used hello kitty for the books and apple cut, create a critter for the cute lil                              wormy and plantin for the abc123.

hello kitty christmas

happy friday:) woo hoo i have the day off :) i made this for  challenges  going on over at  little scrap pieces  whos theme is to use an animal AND my craft spot  the theme being a card or box for christmas. AND winter wonderland whos theme this week is elves  be sure to go check them out lots of great inspiration :)

i made a cute hello kitty card

i just love this cart..never can go wrong with kitty:) and how cute is she all decked out as an elf :) had to glitter up her hat and boots with some stickles. i also added some cotton trim on her hat and a pompom .

had to try out my new snowflake punch too :) more stickles,and some on the star and presents too.

i made a sun shaped card using the hello kitty cartridge ( card feature) my daycare girly  helped out on this and coated it with stickles.

for the glasses and cute heart lenses i used create a critter cartridge. i added some viva decor gel effects to them. and added some bling.

i thought id make a cutesly lil card for a young grad :) 

             oopsie! i forgot to add my backdrop behind the photo..ugly apartment window /paint                                                   showing. oh well i'll remember next post :) 
          i used hello kitty cartridge. cant go wrong with the kitty thats for sure :) 

 

                                      i added stickles, oh and the glue mess you see on the diploma has since                                             
been removed :) 
i also used foam stickie thingys under kitty and the hat and diploma.

i computer generated the saying. 

easy easy card.  one of the things i love about this cartridge is you can make quick simple cards but with kittys personality theyre so dang sweet :)

happy monday!  did ya miss me?! ;)  i got moved into my own place and maybe my mojo is coming back too, slowly. this week over at BBTB2 our wonderful jeri has chosen our theme to be balloons and birthday, all her daughters' birthdays are this month so im sure lots of balloons will be floating around :) be sure to check out the fun cards the rest of the dt have created .

happy monday :) this week over at bbtb2 our very talented and sweetheart theresa is our hostess :) she has chose for us to use the halloween kitty from hello kitty.  how fun cuz i dont care who ya are ya gotta just love kitty :) this is also my fave cut from the cart. thanks theresa :) be sure to go check out what the rest of the purrrrfectly awesome dt has done with this cut.

                                                     here's my card i used the card feature.

                   for kittys bag i used doodlecharms. i adhered a vinyl sticker from ead designs.

                                      i computer generated the text purrfectly spookable .

                                    the pumpkin is also hello kitty. i made a candy holder out of it .

i cut the pumpkin at 3 inches. then did a shadow cut at 3 inches for the back. i took a 2X3 piece of cardstock and scored it at 1/4 and 1/2 on 3 sides. i cut off the corners where the score lines run across each other. sorry i didnt take pics..youll understand when you see yours. i adhered this with tacky tape between the shadow and pumpkin cuts. heres a side view for you.  this should be big enough for one of those ghiradelli or square candies.hope this is helpful :)

           my extras : colorbox fluid chalk and viva decor glass effects gel ( pumpkin facial cutouts)

whimsical wednesdays no tricks just treats!

happy wednesday!  this week over at whimsical wednesday were to create a bag or box thats a fun way to wrap up treats. i couldnt make up my mind on just one thing so i made several. this is going to be a bit picture heavy so thanks in advance for sticking it out :)

before i show you what i came up with i wanted to  let ya know we have 2  sponsors this week. wow huh! each will be giving away some fun  to one random winner each

ok now on to my projects... all the tags and ribbons are from the cuttin cafe and prairiebirdboutique. included colorbox fluid chalk too.

this is a gift for my daughter. this is one of those sweet test tube holders. i found the directions on splitcoaststampers. my bestest rose( <~~~ go check hers out) and i got together and made these. the soap bottle is from target already decorated.

 the cute as evuh sticker is from EAD designs , way cute vinyl  stickers! 

this creepy spider also from ead designs.

for this lil altered lunch bag i used my cuttlebug and cut a marquee image on the front of the bag then added some acetate. the bat is from my cricut and hello kitty cartridge.

  

i used a stamp from justritestampers (witch way to the treats set) all over the bag. 

 

next.....

i used a glassine bag for this. the cute lil ghostie is from my cricut and paperdolls cartridge.

 the candy corn are printables from the cutting cafe set too.

just a side view i just glued the ghost and candy onto the front of the bag. 

and last but not least........

here i used one of reginas fun lil milk carton printables from her halloween/fall milk carton set. i dont own the programs that you can cut these with so i did it by hand.very easy except this particular set has cut outs. i didnt want to mess up the sweet leaf that is on this so instead i used my cuttlebug and made a leaf then adhered it where the original leaf cut is. a duh moment after i had this assembled already was that i may have been able to run this thru my c/bug with my die cut therefore getting a cut image in the carton. the leaves are almost exactly alike. ill have to try that out later.

i think it turned out pretty using another tag that i distressed a tad

from reginas set behind the leaf tho.. i used colorbox fluid chalk and colored in the leaf then added distress stickles. i also added some rhinestones around it. did a little dot  doodling on the box and added a button.

just wanted to show that the tag can be prettied up too. this is the same tag used on the test tube project. i covered the circle sentiment with the crocheted flower.and  added a few little extras.

i added the beautiful crinkle ribbon ( it has a little glimmer to it that i cant capture with my cam )

i cut the heart from aida cloth with my c/bug. some tulle ( i think thats how thats spelled ;) ) twine, lil flower. raffia and a felt leaf.

                                                        for our hop i made a few things to show you ..

                                                                   first i altered a wine bottle

                       i covered it in paper from recollections. and added some webbing for spooky fun.

the label came with the paper pack. im going to give this to my daughter as she is into bats. i know she'll love this :)  the witch/cauldron are a marths stewart punch. i added a few cloud9 raindots  for her bubbly brew.

the kitty is a martha stewart punch also. my daughter also loves kitties.. she has like 50 of them ;)

 

i filled the bottle with jelly beans for show here  but will take them out and add reeses pieces  her favorites :) im sure she'd prefer it filled with wine tho ;)

oh i also used a cut paper doily edge and strung some beads around the neck.
i also added a couple of cuttlebug bats. i just cut 2 of each  and glued wire between the layers.  
super simple but fun to make :)

    next i made a card using stampin up treat cup holders. this is called a slider treat cup card i                                             found the instructions on splitcoaststampers.

                                 i used my cricut and paperdolls cartridge for the large ghost. 
oh i forgot to take a close up of the tab on top...can you see the orange ribbon/brad on top of the card, well that makes it so the recipient can pull that tab up and the candy will slide out of the inside of the card so your cute card doesnt have to be ripped apart .. check out the tute on splitcoast on how to make this . its a whole lot easier than me trying to explain as im a visual person .

      i cut out a few ghosties from the pre~patterned paper and pop dotted them for some ghost depth :)

                      here i used a dollar bin stamp and added some viva decor glitter liner 
heres the inside . this came with the paper pack.

                      then i went ahead and made another card , a spinner card. another for my daughter :)

                                     kitty and bat are from my cricut and hello kitty cartridge. 

                                . the bat in action :)  i just love these spinner cards :)
              oopsie the bats a little hard to see hes really cute.   overcast today i need to 
                  find the right time of day and perfect pic taking spot now that fall is here. 
                                      i added viva decor gel pen to kittys hat and witchy cape.
