paper playtime ribbon challenge

i cased my project from one of my fave designers, debbie marcinkiewicz from paper sweeties  . please click on her name to take you to her blog and give her a little love . hers is prettier than mine no doubt :) thank you debbie for the inspiration!

for this i took a wood spool, inked it up with tea dye distress and added some paper. . i cut a circle from thin cardboard and hot glued it to the underside for better stability. it stood on its own fine im just a tad over cautious :) i made sure the hot glue covered the entire circle and extra dabbed in the spool hole so my dowel would be secure. i also inked that up.

i cut another circle a tad larger and glued on some moss added pearls for eggs and used my cricut and 50 states cart for the bird. for the bird house i used the cindylou cartridge.

i added a button and a  stamped sentiment (whimsical designs, everyday sentiments) and 2 ribbons . 

isnt this just sweet :)

happy saturday :) this is for this weeks sketch by patter over at tts
for this i used my cricut and home accents (flourishes) and 50 states (flowers)
finishing touches:
martha stewart butterfly punches
colorbox fluid chalk in pumkin spice and chestnut roan
SU stamp sentiment
stickles in cinnamon
paper by memorybox of course :)
