i cut the clouds from pooh and friends at 2 and 2~1/2 inches. inking and adding sticky foamies underneath. the stars were cut at 2 and 3 inches using baby steps. i added buttons for fun :)the moon was cut at 2 inches ( i think) from create a critter.i added a pom pom on his little hat.

i used create a critter for the sentiment which was cut at 1 inch.

for my 2nd layout i used pooh and friends for all the cuts

sweet pooh bear was cut at 4 inches

the balloons were cut at 2 inches ( im almost positive)  i added some twine

for this hop were showcasing the cardztv stamp set "snail mail" . this is a really cute and versatile set.
ive made several things so my post will be a tad long.

i made some gift card holders out of mini bags

for the yellow dot background i inked up a qtip and splotched away. the stamps i used are the stamp frame, 5c and the saying. pooh is from my cricut and pooh and friends cart (cut at 1 inch)
i did the same b/g using white ink. the saying is from snail mail stamp set. i used my cricut and create a critter  for the seal  i made the banner using the banner thingy from the stage just a larger cut.
and for this last one i thought it would be cute to add a little love note for your honey) excuse the tape i just wanted to show it closed so you could see how the heart meets together when closed :) all the images/text on here are from the snail mail set.

next i made a couple of  cards

here i made a mini card using using special delivery from the set
i hand drew the stems and added teensie buttons
heres another
i used just a note from the set

i ran the c/stock through my cuttlebug and inked it
and finally the last one ;)
i used the heart that came with the set hand drew the vines and the word love is a sizzix die. i added popdots underneath

cricutcardzchallenges critter cuties

happy wednesday! this week over at CCC our challenge is to make a valentines  with any critter. be sure to check out the rest of the dt samples for this fun theme :)

this week instead of something i made  i thought id show something my daycare boy "bug" made . i live close to hobby lobby so once a week we walk over there and he picks out some crafty stuff to make. he chose a cardboard mailbox for his sister.

he picked out the cuts from create a critter  and traced the front paper from the lid, glued it on  and designed the box i just glued the diecuts together for him. he did add stickles to the heart wings but of course this was after i already photo'd his project.

heres the side view.  he added some googly eyes to the bee and stickles then he added a box of conversation hearts inside and drew her a picture but said he didnt want to show that .

thanks from both bug and i for stopping by the blog, your sweet comments make us smile :) thanks for that too :) happy crafting! xxxshelly (and bug)

bittenbythebug2 love is in the air

happy monday! this week over at bbtb2 our sweet gal  brenda has chosen our challenge, use a cupid or heart on a card or project. be sure to check out the rest of the dts fabulous as always samples :) and of course play along with us we love when you do :)
im entering this over at DLart linky party be sure to go share yourr projects i know diana would just love if you did :)
i decided to go hearts instead of cupid.
i made the flower by cutting several hearts from the  sweethearts cartridge. altho the center one is a scrap leftover i forget which cart.i ran the top layer hearts thru my cuttlebug.
and inked up a bit. i added stickles to the center heart.
the sweet bees are from create a critter.altho you cant tell from the photo,  i added stickles to their wings and gave them googly eyes.
the saying is computer generated.

thanks so much for stopping by and thank you for the sweet comments they always make me smile :) hope your week is off to a great start :)  happy crafting!xxxshelly

cricutcardz an attitude with gratitude

happy wednesday:) this week over at CCC our theme is thanksgiving. be sure to check out the rest of the dts samples again this week lovely stuff!
i found this super easy~> tutorial<~ for a  flat back treat box.  im making one for each guest for in front of their thanksgiving plates. im going to add a thanksgiving poem or sentiment ( still undecided) to the backs .
im entering this over at DLART , dianas having a fun linky party and is also offering up a great prize again so you will want to go check that out. i know shed just love for you to share your stuff too :)
i used doodle charms for the basket and leaves and create a critter for the turkey.
i used foam stickies behind the basket and added some brads. i think i used pooh and friends for some of the leaves.. i always have extras from other projects and pop them in wherever needed. any leaves from any cartridge will do obviously :)
i forgot to take close up of the sweet lil turkey..i added a rhinestone to his hat and used colorbox fluid chalk to ink him up some.

hope you liked my fun little project :) thanks for stopping by for a visit i love when you do . your comments always make me smile , im thankful for that :) have a great rest of day and happy crafting! xxxshelly
