bbtb2 frosty

happy monday :) this week over at bbtb2 our challenge is  frosty the snowman. use any cart and create away:) i love snowmen :) be sure to check out the rest of the dts awesome snowpeeps and be sure to play along with us we LOVE when you do that :)

for this challenge i altered a little bag . im keeping on top of my christmas packaging this year so im not rushing at the end. we'll see how that actually works out ;)

i used winter woodland cartridge for this. this is my favorite snowman on this cart.

i added a tiny pompom on the hat. i stamped snowflakes onto the bag.
added a doily topper and a button. the stamped sentiment is from SU. i tied a bow using some paper wrapphia and  my fabulous bowmaker from 3 girls jam. added a button with twine  and memory thread.

thats it. simple but sweet :) this year im going to try my hand at homemade marshmellows , so thats whats going in this bag :) hey i have all year to perfect them eh..no excuses :)

                              i altered a bag that ill be adding homemade peppermint bark to (hence the peppermint candy as sort of a hint of whats inside the bag)
                                         

this lovely saying is this weeks freebie from word art wednesday.

i used a cuttlebug die for the shape and put a doily behind it.i also used utee /cracked glass effect. i adhered a magnet to this so the recipient can add it to their collection on their fridge. 

the large embossed snowflake is sizzex and the smaller ones are cuttlebug.

i used my cricut and when its cold outside cartridge for this 3/d snowflake , ornament

i added a clothespin drenched in chunky glitter

i added some pretty crinkle ribbon from 3 girlsjam using my most favorite tool from them, the bow maker some memory thread and a homemade pearl hatpin

first is a card i made

my card base is  SU cherry cobbler the panel the wreath is on is kraft card stock which can be purchased at  thekraftoutlet.  i stamped and  inked up with white from SU . i used my cricut and jasmine cartridge for my corners.

the wreath stamp is from memorybox. i added MS punched branches adding pearl berries using viva decor pearl pen. i also used viva decor glitter liner and added some clear rhinestones.

i used one of those random dollar bin stamps.

for my second project i made a gift card holder using a kraft bag which can be purchased at thekraftoutlet.

i added a clothespin (thekraftoutlet) which i covered in chunky glitter. used the MS branch punch and viva decor pearl pen again. i also covered the bag in distress paint(clear rock candy) and stamped snowflakes on it. added seam binding and canvas border strip both of which you can purchase at the kraft outlet)

i stamped right on the canvas tag and also painted it with the rock candy distress paint.

happy monday! this week over at bbtb2 our lovely suzanne is our hostess. she has challenged us to decorate a bag or tag using any cartridge. be sure to check out the rest of the dts amazing projects. as usual you will be amazed. be sure to play along with us too we love when you do. please just remember to use a cricut cut as your main image and oh please oh please turn off word verification. i cant comment on your blog if you have that turned on and that saddens me :(

i altered 2 little lunch bags for this weeks challenge

i used snow friends for the snow peeps. this bag will be filled with a cocoa mix for those cold nights :)

i added a bow from wraphia paper ribbon adding  a teensy bell onto that. i also added a little sparkle to it using my viva decor glitter liner. i also added some hatpins. theyre actually flowers but i thought they could pass as snowflakes too :) and a piece of sparkly wired ribbon.

  oh yeah! i used from my kitchen cart for the cookies cut.

yummo is right! i added a clothespin to keep this closed. i used rock candy stickles on it tossed a bell around it and put a piece of ribbon too. it just needed a lil something to not look so plain but not get in the way when the bag is joyously opened for my gosh darn fantastic cookie goodness. . yep i can bake big time :)

for a little inspiration for the hop  i made 2 projects for a friend to wind down after the days are done.

the first one is a small lunch sack i altered.  inside ill add some fudge and a packet of flavored coffee or regular coffee and a bottle of bailys irish creme. yum! 

i used the monthly circles for this. i added the 24th using my cricut and george cartridge. i inked it up and added some sparkle with stickles. i also added a few punched snowflakes sparkling them up also.

i used my cricut and joys of the season for the hat and mitten cuts. 

for my second project 

i also used the monthly circles on this . i printed it directly onto a glassine bag.and  again i used my cricut and george cartridge for the numbers.i added some chunky glitter to the bag and used martha stewart branch punch and viva decor pearl pen for the berries. ill add fresh baked cookies inside the glassine bag when i give it to her :) 

i took a cotton bag and stamped directly onto that also. this stamp is from whimsical designs (theres a link on my sidebar) i attached some pom poms and inside i added a homemade instant cocoa mix and some mini marshmallows. i also coated a plastic spoon with chocolate, wrapped it and tucked it inside. i tied a ribbon and some twine around that. i attached the candy cane to the spoon with a glue dot. super simple little gifts but when you add the right elements or embellies it looks like ya took forever :) it shows the love for sure and thats super important :)

bbtb2 breast cancer support

happy monday :) this week over at BBTB2 our fabulous brenda is our hostess and shes chosen our theme to be a project using any cartridge to recognize breast cancer awareness month.

i chose to make a card and lil gift bag maybe frm a little daughter to her mom or aunt or grandma..whoever.. to remind them to get a checkup or if theyre battling  breast cancer or have survived the battle .

i used hello kitty and george cartridges. i dont have a cart with a ribbon so i just used george ampersand, and cut off the bottom parts.

added some rhinestones and white pen doodles. i put pink candies into the bag. and hand scribbled the sentiment.

happy monday :) this week over at BBTB2, suzanne  our lovely dt sister and soon to be grandma of her first grandson has chosen our theme "little boy blue" . congrats suzanne! im sure youre super excited :)

ok so i opened up my design studio and made a baby bottle shaped card and then altered a mini bag

i used baby steps cartridge for all the cuts.

i added some beautiful crinkle ribbon using my magnificant bow maker from 3girlsjam. this is the best 6 bucks i have spent on crafty stuff i swear! if you cant tie or have a hard time with ribbons im telling you go get this you will LOVE it! and the ribbon is so pretty! i used baby boy and daffodil and made a double bow ( theres an easy to follow video link  on the site on how to do this..so easy!)

for this weeks challenge i decorated a small lunch sack

i used happy spider digi. i thought it was cute to have 2 instead of one because no matter who youre spooking, its more fun with more than one :) the prop stash is going to go inside the bag for the recipient..my daycare boy "bug"

         i added googly eyes to these creepy cute spiders. and used a whit pen on them too :)

i just printed them out onto patterned paper cut and inked just a little .

the tag came with the pre~packaged paper. i added a clothespin for closure.

i also added some batting for spider webs. i went along the sides of the bag with it  too.

happy monday! yay me! i was asked to be guest designer over at fantabulous cricut ! wow huh!

i made 2 projects ..first a sweet cupcake card because it goes without saying  a cupcake makes everyday perfect :)

i used baby steps for this. i added liquid glaze to the flames. added buttons rhinestones and inked with colorbox fluid chalk.

my next project  i simply decorated an mini lunch/gift bag. i wanted it masculine so i kept the design very simple 

i used my brandi spanking new  pretty pennants cartridge on this. i won this awesome cart from diana over at DLart. thank you diana!!!!!!!! if you dont own this cart i highly suggest it.

heres my shaped card, thanks for the fun challenge stephanie! 

i used hello kitty cut at 5 inches i just love her and her friends :) i made a lil  mini gift bag. my daughter whos 30 still loves hello kitty too so ill probably buy a little plant and give this to her. 

for the bag i used hello kitty for the flower which i cut at 3 inches. the bottom border is a martha stewart punch . i added some crimped paper and some bendable floral wire (paper coated) and tiny clothespin . i handwrote the tag which is a 1 inch circle punch.

happy tuesday :) i made this cute lil gift set that im going to give to my daughter and her fiance
im entering it into a couple of challenges

for frank and his gorgeous chicka i used my cricut and paper dolls cartridge.

i stamped a spider web in the corner of bag and added googly eyes

then cut a teensy circle~ish shape and hand drew on spidies face and then legs.i used pop dots under frankie

i added some candy to some stampin up candy bags and glued on the stamped sentiment (just right stamps) and added some twine

i added some sparkly purple twine ( wish i could remember where i got this it was my last bit and i NEED more! )and some orange buttons

the bats are from cuttlebug.i used pop dots under the bride

well i hope i filled all the requirements properly for the challenges :)
