the moon and stars at bitten by the bug 2

happy monday!  gonna keep this short and simple as my brother and his wife are here from out of state for a visit.this week at BBTB2  our ever sweetheart julie has set our challenge to use a moon and or stars from any cartridge. be sure to check out the rest of the dts fun projects and be sure to play along with us we really love when you do!

i made a super simple halloween card

i used paper dolls for the moon and stars.

i added some stickles to the stars

the tree image is pre~embossed on the paper i believe this is dcwv, if not its recollections. 

the house and word spooky were also cut from the same pack

cardztv linky girlz sew much fun

happy friday! were back from our little vacation from did ya miss us? boy do we have some fun changes in store for you :)  we divided our design team into 2 smaller teams, we are now cardztv challenge go~ to~ galz and cardztv linky party go~ to~ galz. (i'm  on the linky girlz team) . we'll be rotating each week , so each week on cardztv you'll have a chance to enter our challenge or link up to our linky party :) how fun eh?! we're all really excited about the new changes and hope you'll play along.as always we'll use random.org to pick a winner of cardztv stamps and other prizes for each linky party :)
this week we chose our theme to be "sew much fun" using real or faux stitching on your project.
i made a gift card holder for a friend's daughter that makes handmade purses, hats and wallets then sells them to her classmates. tucked a gift card to a fabric store in the little pocket. this holder is super simple. here's the  tutorial  from the kraft journal for it ~>gift card holder<~

happy monday :) this week over at bbtb2 our super talented fearless leader susan has chosen our challenge to use clown bear from teddy bear parade. if youre like me and dont own it no worries you can use ANY cart to make a clown with.
be sure to check out the cute funny adorable clowns the rest of the dt have sampled for us all :) and of course join in our fun we love when you do! just make sure your main image is from cricut :)

for my card i used create a critter for the bear, balloons and circus tent. i used paper dolls for the hat,nose and bowtie.

i didnt add a sentiment as i didnt make this for anyone in particular i may end up using the cuts in a scrapbook layout instead.

crafty cardz challenge #127

happy wednesday! exciting news as cricutcardz is now crafty cardz challenges. now you can use more than your cricut to play along with us so you have no excuse not to ;)
this week our awesome mary  has challenged us to make a card for st pattys day using ONLY the colors green black and white. i went ahead and made 2 cards because one has some orange on it. i didnt think about that until after i made the first card.

i used simply charmed for the cute leprechaun and paper dolls for the shamrocks. for some reason everytime i see a leprechaun i start craving lucky charms cereal something fierce. i dont even like that stuff !

i used a childs year for the witch cuts and george for the circle/moon and paper dolls for the fence. 

the cats are a martha stewart punch

i added rhinestones in orange and yellow, i also used some white ink on the witches and kitties

computer generated the fun saying.

bbtb2 halloween container

i made a popcorn/candy container using tagsbagsboxesandmore cartridge.

i decorated all 4 sides using paper dolls cartridge for all of the cuts. the bubbles on and around the cauldron are cloud9 rain dots. 

i used a white pen and hand drew spider webs and used pearls for the spiders

i love the look on this kittys face :) ive seen my very own sweet fuzzypunk geddy giving the same look :) 

 i used colorbox fluid chalk for some inking and also cut the container with sandable cardstock.

happy wednesday :) this weeks challenge over at CCC is to make an S~fold card with a halloween theme.  mary has a tutorial on thecardztv blog if youre unsure how to make an s fold. super easy :)  be sure to check out the scary fun cards the DT has made and be sure to play along with us we love when you do :) 

i used paperdolls for my cuts except for the witch shes a martha stewart punch. 

heres the card opened up. the fab paper is memorybox. i inked al my cuts using colorbox fluid chalk.

i glued googly eyes to the tree. the cat is a martha stewart punch

i used paperpups for the boo!

and the sentiment is a stamp from just right stamps.

happy tuesday :) i made this cute lil gift set that im going to give to my daughter and her fiance
im entering it into a couple of challenges

for frank and his gorgeous chicka i used my cricut and paper dolls cartridge.

i stamped a spider web in the corner of bag and added googly eyes

then cut a teensy circle~ish shape and hand drew on spidies face and then legs.i used pop dots under frankie

i added some candy to some stampin up candy bags and glued on the stamped sentiment (just right stamps) and added some twine

i added some sparkly purple twine ( wish i could remember where i got this it was my last bit and i NEED more! )and some orange buttons

the bats are from cuttlebug.i used pop dots under the bride

well i hope i filled all the requirements properly for the challenges :)

for this card i used my cricut and paperdolls cartridge for the monster. i used my own chicken scratch for the sentiment ;)

i added some googly eyes and a heart 

                                               then made some button spiders

i added an action wobbly under the monster 

quick and easy but i think cute for any lil monster :)

scarecrow and pumpkins

happy tuesday :)i made this for a couple of card challenges
just us girls whos theme is color inspiration ( pumpkin,kraft,baja blue and rust)
and little scrap pieces whos theme is real or faux stitching.
and DLART whos having a linky party this month. she has an awesome giveaway so check that out. 

i used baja breeze for the hat and shirt. his overalls have rust in them, the pumpkins are well pumpkin ;) and i used kraft for the base of my card. for the stiching i used my signo gel pen 

ill probably toss this one to my daughter so i just hand wrote happy fall. normally id stamp or computer generate. i cut the scarecrow with my cricut and simply charmed cartridge.  i added some fluttering by leaves. which were cut from pooh and friends cart.

the pumpkins here are from pooh and friends. the ones on the right with the vines are from happily ever after cart.the corn stalks are from paper dolls.

i added dmx memory thread for the springy things.and inked here and there with colorbox fluid chalk.

cricutcardz critter cuties

happy wednesday! this week over at CCC our theme is critter cuties. yep make a card with any cute critter from any cart. be sure to pop on over to see the adorable cards the rest of the dt has made and of course we love when you join us in our challenge :)

for my card i used my favorite little bunny. hes from the paper dolls cartridge. 

isnt he just so cute :) i added a pearl heart for his lil bunny nose.  i used walk in my garden for the flowerpot and the flowers. cindylou cart for the flourishes and zoobaloo for the grass. 

the green sprigy things are something called memory thread. you can also use corded hemp i just happened to have this on hand. i added some dots with my signo pen and inked with colorbox fluid chalk. added pop dots under the flowers and also the flowerpot which i also curved a bit for bunny to fit inside.

happy monday! this week rebekah has chosen  fashion show as our theme at  BBTB2 . any fashioned theme cut from any cartridge. be sure to go check out the rest of the dt creations :) and of course be sure to play along we LOVE when you do that.

i used paper dolls dress up  cartridge for this fun little card. im giving  this one to my step dad for his birthday.

i used george for the numbers. i computer generated the sentiment. i was listening to a bit of  rod stewart while making this ;) altho the song has nothing to do with it i thought the title was cute instead of the typical stop clowning around /happy birthday type of sentiment :) 

i added pom~poms to his stylin outfit 

for the corners i used the blackout key/shift ( the ruffle for his outfit)

cricut cardz challenges wearing of the green

happy wednesday :) this week over at CCC our challenge is to make a st patricks day card using green as our main color. make sure to check out the fun cards the rest of the dt has sampled and be sure to play along with us we love to see your creations.

heres my card

i used paper dolls for the shamrocks/clover. theres no shadow feature so i cut the image twice, once 1/4 inch larger than the other or you can cut the same size then just off set them a little. i added viva decor inka gold  hand drew some hearts to the centers and added stickles. the text is computer generated.

the cute little bear is a go kreate die. isnt he just the sweetest :) i added pearls for his nose and eyes.

happy monday :) just a quickie post here as  i have very limited internet access  until i get moved which will be march 3rd. my services wont be hooked up til the 5th.  of course by the time youre reading this everything should be up and running . fingers crossed.   i just wanted to get all my DT posts done and scheduled for this month just in case i run into the same fiasco as my last move. BIG PAIN! 

this week our over at bbtb2 our sweet and oh so lovely julia has chosen our theme to be bunnies and or chicks from any cartridge. there are lots of carts with adorable  bunnies and chicks too.  i chose my fave lil guy from paperdolls.

along with paperdolls cart i used create a critter for the grass. the lil chickies are from a SU stamp set  and the eggs are recycled stickers. the paper is prima.

i computer generated the saying :)

paper cutz let's talk turkey

happy friday! this week over at PCC were to use an image of a turkey on our cards/projects. be sure to check out the rest of the dts fun makes :) since i was awol last week i made 2 projects for this week.
                                    first a card for a friend

for my card i used my cricut and create a critter cartridge for the cute turkey. the leaves and pumpkins  are cuttelbug.i also ran the panels behind the turkey thru the c/bug.added colorbox fluid chalk and distress stickles and a stamped sentiment. thats it easy peasy :) 

second is an invitation. i actually cased this one from myself from a few years ago.

i used my cricut and stretch your imagination (turkey),animal kingdom (pig), plantin (apple)  and paperdolls (spoon, cornstalks, axe, cornucoppia) and mini monograms (scallop)  cartridges.

                                      uh oh...  i think piggy knows whats up ;) or may be wondering ;) im not telling :)

 

i hand cut the chimney and smoke swirls also the window and awning. .added colorbox fluid chalk to it all. 

 just a bit of look into my sense of humor. yep i have one :)
