paper playtime ribbons and buttons

happy monday :) our challenge over at paper playtime is to use ribbons and buttons on a project. make sure you check out the fantastic samples from the rest of my dt sisters and play along with us we really love when you do!
i made a little note card

super simple. i used a dollar bin stamp for the flowers and added a teensy button to the centers

pretty paper eh :) its from my favorite company memory box. 

the stamp is from cardztv "simply said" set. i used a fiskers border punch along the bottom of this

i added a pretty crinkle ribbon flower and added a pearl to the center. i made this using ribbon AND my favorite crafty tool the bow maker both can purchased from 3girlsjam. if you dont own one of these run on over to their store and nab one up i swear by this nifty little gem :)

cuttlebuggin it

happy tuesday :)  thought id play along with a new to me blog called cuttlebug mania.their challenge this week is a color challenge, green orange and yellow and add a button.  im also entering this over at dlart where the lovely diana is having a linky party (anything goes)
and 2 creative chicks (buttons brads or bows)

i used all cuttlebug on this. i think my cricut is scowling ;) 

isnt this ellie just the sweetest :) i ran some spun sugar ink over her then added a rhinestone flower atop the embossed flower, it just needed a little "some somethins" besides ink.

crafty creations challenge embossing

happy wednesday :) time for a bit of  CCC  inspiration! this weeks challenge was to do embossing either dry or wet. be sure to pop in over at CCC say hi and join in our fun! for my card i used my cuttlebug and 2 different little file folders. one the kitty which would be me :)  and the other the cute lil pup which represents my sweetieboy. the test was cut from a c/bug alphabet set. i only own one must get more.:)  for the corners i used a sizzix die, emboss and cut. i sanded the embossed cuts a little. added buttons and memorybox self adhesive pearls and a littel colorbox fluid chalk. paper  is my minds eye. thanks so much for stopping by i hope you come back very soon i really enjoy your company :)  have a great day! shelly

paperblooms

happy wednesday! time for our biweekly  PB :) be sure to head on over to the blog  and see what awesome creations the other DT gals have in store for you plus join in the fun you may be our next guest designer! how cool would that be!
our challenge was bling it on!  so i blung on some basic grey opaline pearls these are soo pretty!
i also used my cuttlebug and a spellbinders cut and emboss butterfly isnt this a beaut!  ( it comes in  a set of 3)  did a little bit of sanding on it then added some pearls to its body. then that gorgeou sbloom! where did i get that you ask..well my uber talented design team leader leah makes these . theres a link in my sidebar to get to her etsy shop or just head on over to the PB blog and you'll find the info there. she does custom orders , is  very quick on getting your product to you  ,great pricing and her blooms are perfect!

craftycreations challenge #30

happy wednesday:) it's time for this weeks challenge over at CCC this week our theme is the farm. be sure togo check out what the other DT ladies came up with... there's the cutest set of pigs you just have to go see :) and jamie is offering up some goodies.
for my take i used an adorable sheep from the cutting cafe reginas got some marvelous printables in her shop all very very affordable so be sure to go see what she has.
i also used a sketch from papertakeweekly , a challenge site i play along with every week i love this sketch with all the layers.
i added some buttons, ran one of my panels through the cuttlebug divine swilrs folder i also used my cricut and jasmine cartridge for the corners. i computer generated the text. thanks for looking :) have a fun day! shelly

abc challenge and papertakeweekly

happy thursday.. ive had the day off and boy has it been nice:) the kitties and i been playing in my craft cave all day :)
this card is for 2 challenges this week one being papertakeweekly whos theme was to use our favorites.. mine happen to be butterflies ,pretty paper, vellum and pearls be sure to head on over and see what the dt created :)
abc challenge, its my first time playing here :) this week you were to use vellum.. i love this stuff and have some beautiful papers from webster pages that i used. the background paper with the writing is cardstock i then used vellum as an overlay.. i think it turned out really sharp! the large butterfly was cut with my cuttlebug in the same vellum then backed with cardstock so it showed up better , the smaller ones i did the same thing they are a martha stewart punch. i used my cricut machine and jasmine cartridge for the 2 corners. i also used colorbox fluid chalk and basic grey pearls. hope your day is fantabulous! thak you for stopping by hope you enjoyed :) xx shelly
