my cricut craftroom 100 cart bloghop

happy saturday!  welcome and thank you for visiting  my cricut craftroom's 100 cartridge bloghop :) i know youre getting a ton of inspiration, i sure am!   if you came here from sandys place  then your headed in the right direction. ill let you know where to go next at the end of my post along with a complete line up :)
i made 5 cards using 7 cartridges i hope you enjoy them

heres card 1

for this i used wildcard for the lattice (its an icon feature on page 33 in the handbook) i cant find my notes but believe i cut this at 5~1/2 inches. my card is an A2 size.i added a white background panel behind it.

for the flowers i used storybook poppies, (letter Ashift and shadow) cut at 1,3/4 and 1/2 inches then i scrunched and layered them.the branches (letter Hshift) were cut at  1~3/4,2 and 3 inches.

i used boys will be boys. the mitt and ball were cut at 4 inches. the stars were cut from the drum cut at 1~1/2 and 2 inches.

i adhered the ball with thin foam stickies for some dimension.

i made a fun little birdie card

i used 3birds on parade. the bird was cut at 3 inches 

                                     

arent these hearts cute with the birdie feet etched out :) i cut them at 1~1/4 and 1~1/2 inches

for this sweet card i used create a critter. 

the seahorse was cut at 4 inches and the leafy branches (octopus accessory) were cut at 2 and 3 inches. the seaweed (fishbowl layer3) cut at 5 inches. i added rhinestones and the air bubbles i used george.

and lastly card 5

i used george for the lighter green frame ( square silhouette feature) at 3~1/2 inches. 

the butterfly and branches were cut with give a hoot.

the branches (accent bird3) were cut at 1~1/2 and 1~1/4 inches. 

the butterfly was cut at 2 inches.pretty isnt it :) i love the design cut out on this .

cricutcardzchallenges be my valentine

happy wednesday :) this week over at CCC our challenge is to make a round or square valentine card
be sure to check out the rest of the dts sweet as ever cards :) be sure to play along with us too we love when you do!


for my card i used wild card cartridge for the scalloped card  then i cut 2 circles from accent essentials  for the inside and outside of the card.

i used give a hoot for the bunny and hearts isnt he so sad looking, poor lil thing :(
i computer generated and used stamps for the saying be my some bunny

chricutcardzchallenges a banner year

happy wednesday :) this week our challenge over at CCC is to make a card with a banner from any cricut cartridge.be sure to check out the samples from the rest of the fun design team.
i decided to go simple and masculine with this one.

i used pretty pennants for the banners . ( thank you diana larson! i won this amazing cart from one of her challenges. be sure to check her blog out and join in her fun too ) the ducks are from give a hoot cartridge.  the sentiment is a stamp from whimsical designs. i added a couple of brads and some ink and thats it. im up in the air..no pun intended..about the ducks but left as is after asking mary and the rest of the dt.

SKdigis december linky

happy december 1st :)
this month our theme at SKdigis is christmas. oh and sonia has  the cutest ever holiday themed digis so be sure to head on over to the blog and  see  what amazing cards and projects my super uber talented design team sisters have sampled up!

i made a cute candy bar holder.( regular sized 1.55 oz bar)    this is very easy to make.

for this you need to take a 11~1/2 X 3  inch piece of cardstock. score at 5~1/2 inch and then at 10 inch marks. fold at the score lines. then add adhesive close to the edge up the 2 sides just to where the top flap folds down.thats it, now how easy is that! you can get 4 holders out of one 12X12 piece of cardstock. i added some tape under the front flap to keep it down but you can add a ribbon around it if thats your preference .

then embellish away.  i thought this sentiment of sonias was perfect for this yummy treat and of course i couldnt resist this  sweet little dear from SKdigis to go along with it :)

i just inked his color on with colorbox fluid chalk and used my signo white gel and some googly eyes. i also added a teensy bell . hand cut some snow mounds and added viva decor glitter liner , some punched snowflakes with glitter liner ( subtle so it didnt  show up in pic) and rhinestones. i also used foam stickies under the deer, but glued his feet snow mound since i didnt pop the top layer of the mound. i had a floating deer before i glued his tootsies down :)

happy monday :) this week over at BBTB  our dear suzanne has chosen our challenge, here comes the sun. i realized after i already made my card that the challenge had celebrate summer to the theme, this is more springy so sorry suzanne for my head being in the clouds on this one a bit. as you can tell my mojo has been eluding me for the past 2 years too so i try to get out what i can and just accept that :)  
anyway be sure to check out the rest of the dt creations as always they do such fabulous work. also play along with us we really do love when you do :) 

i made a card but will probably end up using this in my daughters photo album instead. maybe one day ill actually finish that :)

isnt this little deer just the sweetest :) the flowers are one of the accents cut in 2 different sizes and glued together. the clouds are also one of the accents.  i added pearls using my viva decor gel pen. i LOVE these, they make perfect pearls that dont run or flatten like liquid pearls tend to. 

i also really dig this sun. uh oh i need to buy a new signo gel pen  ;)

happy monday! this week over at the bug2   our gorgeous and oh so talented melissa has chosen our theme. use any frame from any cartridge. oh wait until you see the spectacular projects the rest of our DT has made AND you do know we have some awesome awesome new designers that have joined our team. so be sure to go give them a huge hello and welcome! and be sure to play along with us too as we always love to see what your cards and projects.

i made a card using cindyloo and the flower6 frame. 

                                the bees are from the give a hoot cartridge. i also used a  stamp for the 3 background bees. i added some stickles to them  for fun. i computer generated the saying. 

easy peasy and cutesy and i hope at least a little bit inspiring :)

whimsical wednesday celebrate spring! challenge #46

happy wednesday :) this week over at WW were celebrating spring be sure to come share your spring creations with us. you can make a card, layout home decor project whatever just show us a spring beauty :)
i made 2 cards for this weeks challenge the first one is for my mom whos 71st birthday is in 10 days .

i used my cricut and give a hoot cartridge for the butterfly. the flower is just cut from circles and decorative circles then layered with an added button in the center.

for my next card

i used my cricut and storybook cartridge for the bird and branch.

 

the dragonflies are an inkadinkadoo stamp. i added stickles to them. i also added a couple of rhinestones along the border. 

the saying is another from the whimsical fun stamp set. i love how versatile all stephs stamps are. seems theres just the perfect saying for any card. be sure to grab ya a set plus the others.

happy friday :) this week over at PCC our theme is buttons. be sure to check out the fun projects the rest of the dt has made. and play along i love buttons so id love to see what you do with them.
                                                    heres the card i made

i used a sizzix brass embossing  folder for the flowerpot. colored in with colorbox fluid chalk. i added a button in the center and to that i added stickles.

 

the dragonflies are buttons too. i also added a little stickles on them for sparkle

i used my cricut and give a hoot cartridge for the sun then added a button

i used 2 inks to with the stamped image (40:31 creations stamps) first in coffee then in yellow going for an embossed sort of look.

happy friday :) this week our theme  is a color challenge. use ONLY  pink, orange and white. a tiny bit of black can also be used. be sure to pop on over to PCC and see what my awesome DT sisters  have made for us :)

for my card this week i used my cricut and owl from give a hoot cartridge. isnt she sweet! i love the flower shaped eyes and her wings. cute cute cute. i added acrylic paint dots all over and black pearls for her eye centers. i used sizzix for corners. paper is SU. the inside of the card reads youre a hoot .

i want to thank my best buddy rose ..i havent been posting much i know, i have ideas just my getting in gear has been lost lately.  she gave me a much needed mini vacation at her lovely home. we had some much needed retail therapy and gab fest. i got to meet her sweet as ever  mom  and i owe her fabulous hubby some special brownies or something yummy for letting me intrude and stealing roses' time away from him. thank you soooooooo much rick you are a gem  :)  extra pets to precious and q. precious wasnt happy i was there, i think came out of her hiding place twice  noticed i was still there, sighed and scooted off again  lol. q put up with me, he allowed me to pet him, but was not happy that i took moms time away. beautiful kittys for sure either way :) i sure miss my own fuzzypunks though!

ok enough of that  eh :) .. heres my card :)
