cricut cardz challenges

happy wednesday! this week over at CCC our theme is theres no mother like my mother.. create a card for mothers day. be sure to pop on over CCC and see the rest of the dts beautiful cards for their moms :)

for my card i used beyond birthdays for MOM , accent essentials for the flowers , home accents for the vines and jasmine for the corners. paper is memory box. i added tiny pearls and colorbox fluid chalk.

                                                       the butterflies are MS punch.

                                              i used thick glue dots to add a tiny bit of dimension

happy monday :)  this week over at bbtb2  our awesome heather has chosen the theme, the apple core from the preserves cartridge. no worries if you dont own this just use any other core image or apple from another cart. i used home accents for mine. i used mini monograms for the scallop circle behind the apple. and of course as always i added a cheesy saying :) im full of em ;) lol anyway be sure to go check out the rest of the DT's marvelous as always creations for this week. thanks for stopping by the ol blog have a great rest of day :) xxxshelly

happy monday :) this week over at BBTB  our challenge is to use the hummingbird from lyrical letters. i dont own that cartridge so substituted the humming bird from home accents. you too can use what ya have , come on join in :)
my card was SU inspired. i used a swirl stamp in white on SU wild wasabi paper. the designer paper is webster pages. i cut out a couple of flowers from the paper and adhered them onto the stamped image. i added stickles to the hummingbird which is SU perfect plum. i dotted the centers of flowers with liquid pearls (buttercup). the stamped sentiment is from creative visions clear stamps, theres a link on my side bar..great stamps and laura is a sweetheart! go check out her shop , you wont leave empty handed :) thanks so much for stopping by and your comments are so much appreciated. have a fun rest of day  :) XXXshelly

i wasnt thinking...and instead of making a card, hence cricut CARDZ challenge ( geez how long have i  been on this DT .duh lol) . i made a pillow pocket hanger. if youd like the template i got it from here . 

for mine i used my cricut and home accents ( swirls, flowers and bird) cartridge.

cricut cardz challenges

happy wednesday :) this week over at CCC mary has chosen our theme to be a thinking of you "S" fold card. if youre not sure how to make one mary has a tutorial you can check out here

i got my brand new basic grey paper origins in the mail and couldnt wait to use them :) so pretty!

i used george (flowers, layered them) and home accents (scrolls) walk in my garden (butterfly on outside  and thinking of you on small inside panel) cartridges. the other b/flies are martha stewart punch ( the stamp and punch i just didnt use the stamp)

my extra ingredients include basic grey opaline pearls colorbox fluid chalk  coordinations paper ( on front of card i pierced around the edges) rhinestones and the inside sentiment is a SU stamp.

bind it all scrapbook/diecutsrus

happy thursday..well what started out as a card idea in my head turned into a scrapbook idea for my neice , but that turned into i'll give it to my daugher instead... i'll add it to her stocking this year for christmas  .. oh crap who am i kidding i'll end up giving it to her the next time i see her.. like tomorrow :)  so anyway your really caring huh ;)   
this week over at diecutsrus the theme is something girly. oh now isnt that a huuuuuuuuge stretch for me! i think this fits perfectly so i got a gift and and challenge out of the way in about an hours worth of time all sitting on my arse at home :) life is good isnt it :)
so be sure to head on over to dcru and see what the dt has to help inspire us along
for this i used my bind it all...and my cricut . from the front to end i used

happy wonderful tuesday!  Melissa from tms asked me to be guest designer for her lovely blog  how sweet is that!  im especially honored because today is her sister Theresas birthdayX2.. her actual birthday PLUS a 2 year cancer free birthday!!!   YAY theresa! in honor of that theres a little party going on at tms. to help celebrate besides just making a card for theresa celebrating life   i with the help of regina easter am  offering up a bit of  blog candy. its an entire set of printable stamps from regina easters cutting cafe. thank you so much regina!  the stamps are from her butterfly set.. all you gotta do.. stop on by the  TMS blog and give theresa birthday wishes if you play along by making a card or project  you get 2 extra entries . i'll get one of my daycare boys to pick a name on tuesday the 13th and announce the winner that evening. have a super groovy day  and remember.. happy friday! yay it's the weekend.. i so love my weekends im done with work at 1130 every friday so i basically have a 3 day weekend  lucky me eh!  :)
this card is for 2 challenges.

this also is for  nildas cuttlebugspot challenge (theyve got a fun contest going on over there so be sure to stop by..) which is inking your c/bug folder THEN running it thru the little bug..i used a new folder i won from the c/bug spot :) its called victoria... and it's sooooooo pretty!

papertakeweekly 100th challenge AND papercutz

happy sunday :) this is for 2 challenges, one being PTW whos celebrating their 100th challenge. yay them! the challenge is to pick your fave sketch and go with it .. although i really love all the sketches at ptw i chose from challenge 25 sketch 8 by katharina. i love to match paper together , and i think this is just a neat design for that.
the other challenge is from PaperCutz whos theme this week is something that flies...
i used my cricut and home accents (dragonfly/flower and text) and jasmine (corners) cartridges. paper is pink paislee vintage moon. the very back black background paper is plain black cardstock stamped randomly with a flourish stamp. thanks for taking the time to look and thank you PTW for the fun each week! shelly

happy monday :) this is for 2 challenges one being for thecuttlebugspot nildas offering up some folders for goodies so be sure to check out the details on that! plus check out the awesome dt samples. the challenge this week is to use your fave folder.. i have 2 the butterfly and swiss dots so i thought id use them both.
i also used my cricut and doodlecharms(sun), jasmine(corners), plantin (grass), home accents (clouds) and walk in my garden (caterpillar) cartridges. i also used a su stamp, ms punch for tiny butterflies, colorbox fluid chalk and making memories paper.
for papercutz their challenge this week is to use a critter on your project. be sure to go see what the DT there has come up with way cute stuff for sure :)

2sketches4you kazans 31 using stampboard aspoonfull of sugar 61/swirls plus 365 cards day 144

this week over at 2sketches kazan drew up this fun sketch.. their DT is also showcasing a product called stampoard which i have so i also used on my card. for all the details on stampboard go to the 2sketches site where they have the info. you can do so many things with this product its a lot of fun to play with.
this is also for this weeks challenge over at ASOS whos theme for the week is swirls be sure to go see the oh so cute cards by the DT there .
and lastly this is also for 365cards day 144..raise me up..showing 2 different dimensions on a card..so i used popdots and the stampboard is also a little thick which adds dimension :)
for my card i handstitched some paper, colored the stampboard with alcohol inks then adhered a rhinestone holographic butterfly sticker.
the other 2 b/flies are 3D pop ups. i dont know who makes them or where to buy them as they were gifted to me and the package says nothing. the sentiment is SU stamp. i also used my cricut and home accents (flourishes) and graphically speaking (flowers) cartridges. i added pop dots for dimension under the flowers basic grey pearls and used colorbox fluid chalk. paper is prima.
