paperblooms and this weeks BLOG CANDY

hi all did ya miss me! i know its been a few days since i last updated.we had a family emergency well 2 but one was minor ( thank goodness!)compared to the one involving my sweetieboys father.. all my friends that have sent prayers his way thank you soooooooooooooo much! you all make my heart full with your caring words and thoughts. i know brian and his family appreciate the kindness from you all too.so big huge hugs from all of us to YOU! and an extra hug to regina over at BBTB for being the sweetheart she is and understanding me not being able to get my BBTB work done this week. and leah for letting me slide a bit on this one. im so fortunate to be on these 2 design teams and both my leaders are just warm caring souls.. im so blessed!
so onto what the post is all about...

this week fun happenings over at paperblooms ...not only did the other DT ladies totally rock this challenge.. we have a guest designer for 2 weeks.. rose miller. shes a friend of mine so i was so excited when she told me leah had asked her to hop aboard for 2 weeks . shes so talented so be sure to click on her name it will take you to her blog so you can see all the awesome work she does. and
this week im going to give away a little prize (pictured above) to all entrants. a bit of ribbon, a cuttlebug ribbon diecut and gorgeous crocheted blooms handmade by paperblooms design team leader leah . you do NOT have to use leahs beautiful crocheted blooms on your project .. any you have or create on your own will work perfectly. please post your creations over at PAPERBLOOMS blog.. let me know here youve posted over there... you can submit ANYTHING youve made to fit the challenge for the week..which is easy.. just use 3 ribbons as your focal point ....it doesnt matter if its the same ribbon .... as long there are 3 ribbons .. youre good to go! this prize is open to everyone! i'll use random.org generator so everyone has a fair shot. i will have random org draw the name on tuesday may 19th AND if you post a link to my blog on your blog announcing candy i will add your name twice. just let me know youve done it so i can add your name the proper amountof times.
for my take on this weeks challenge i made a layout of my daughter when she was about 15...so about 12 years ago. . its actually a 2 page layout i just didnt have time with all the unexpected chaos to finish page 2 in time.. when its done ill post it here also. i used my cricut and indie art cartridge. i also used 3 of the same ribbon..added stickles and the way cool paper which my daughter LOVED when i showed her is from glitz design. dont forget to post on paperblooms in fact.. join us every week and be inspired..and inspire US! plus we'll have some goodies each week :) love and hugs! shelly
