What an AWESOME Halloween scene Shelly! I could look at it for HOUrS and still see something new! My favorite Halloween memory is going to pick out 3 pumpkins with my Dad and then coming home where he would draw a bunch of faces and I would choose which ones I liked (one big one, a little girl face and a little boy face). Then I'd go to bed and in the morning they would all be magically carved with the faces I had chosen. Miss him LOTS! xxD

Shelly, what an awesome card... my favorite memory, hummmm.. I guess would be a few years ago when my daughter and i went and picked out pumpkins for the boys to crave.

How totally ingenious to use the tag as a house. And the scalloped roof. You rock!

What an awesome card and great blog candy. I would have never thought to use the tag as a haunted house! You really think outside the box. Hmm, my favorite Halloween memory. I cut my DHs hair and one Halloween he decided he wanted a hair cut. So we cut his hair on the front porch when the kids were collecting candy. I dressed up in scrubs and had ketchup on my hands. And the kids would come up for candy and I asked them if they wanted to be next for a hair cut. Most of them bolted but it was fun!

love your house!
my favorite memories from a halloween night of trick or treating, was one of my twins (1 1/2 yrs old at the time) well - as the lady across the street from us - handed the candy to each of our children, he handed it back (he thought that was waht you did - share) and proceeded to come in for a visit. We giggled and thanked our dear neighbor who enjoyed the innocence of it all.

ok - off to blog hop and leave a comment there

Shelly - what a great idea to use the tag as a haunted house! And I really love the background paper. My favorite Halloween memory...I love decorating for Halloween and in our old neighborhood there were LOTS of trick-or-treaters. I had my fog machine set up behind some hay bales with my scarecrows and jack-o-lanterns on top. Anyway, right when the neighbor girls approached the house, the fog machine blew out a bunch of fog and scared them. I had it set on "random" but they were convinced my husband did it just to scare them. They jumped and screamed! LOL!

I LOOOOOVE the pic you made here - very creative turning the tag into the house, and love the rats, bats and FROGS in the tree!!!

You want a Halloween story... I remember when my kids were small we made a big deal of decorating the yard one year - tombstones, a public hanging (we stuffed some clothes and made a dummy to hang from the noose), pumpkins and more pumpkins. The yard looked great - the following year the greatest compliment,a "competition" started on the street to decorate! We even had a great scary DRACULA to hang out the candy. A great idea, he scared the older kids who shrieked with glee. Only one problem - the little ones were so afraid of the evil dracula that he had to give the candy to the parents - the little guys weren't coming anywhere near him!

Wowsers!! Great talent! My best memory of halloween was when I was in my 20's and I would setup my sister's garage into a haunted maze. We would actually have a line around the corner just to get spooked! My brother-in-law Kevin would do crowd control. It was awesome time. My mom would be cooking dinner and I remember parents coming through commenting how delicious it smelled, that always got a chuckle out of me, while I tried haunting. Good times!

One of my favorite memories occurred 18 years ago. We were new in our area and my son Bill was 3 years old. We stopped at a local garden center to check out what they had for sale for Halloween. I had no idea that in addition to the ton of things for sale that there were people dressed up, ready to scare the shoppers. The mummy got out of a coffin and started walking toward us. He scared the living daylights out of my poor son who jumped into my arms and stayed there for the rest of our visit!

my fav memory of halloween is when my sound for the first time put his hand in the pumpkin to pull out the seeds it may have been that moment i decided to scrapbook, what a reaction!

What a great project you've done with the challenge!
OK my favorite Halloween memory, taking both of my girls out for trick-or-treating for the first time 2 years ago. Lilee was only 1 month old and Marlee had just turned 2 a month before. They really had no interest in the candy, they just wanted to be out and about with the other neiborhood kids.

StampinCathy said...

Wow this is one amazing and inspiring project. I just love your creative style.
I of my Halloween memories is when I was growing up and my Dad would dress up and hide behind the house and jump out when trick or treaters would come to the house. We would have the Halloween music going and we usually had to run to give them candy. The parents would just start laughing. Thanks for a chance at this fabulous giveaway and also for being this memory back.

hmmm... favorite Halloween memory. I guess the year I took my little ones out trick or treating in the pouring rain, so I used my Toyota MiniVan and kept the side door open so they could jump out (I was going less than 2 miles an hour at the fastest). The boys LOVED it!!!

My favorite halloween memory was when some of my cousins and I were in the front page paper with our halloween costumes.

Thank you for the chance on the blog candy!

Holy Moly Shelly! This 'little' project is unbelievable in detail not to mention cuteness!Love it! Favorite Halloween memory... my birthday is a week before Halloween. On my 18th birthday we had a combo party with friends and carved 18 pumpkins, which ended up in a pumpkin seed fight! 2 years after that I moved and found more pumpkin seeds then I had boxes, lol.

Love the haunted house, I never know what to do with so many tag options. It is great, besides I love Halloween. My birthday is in the month of October, so I consider the entire month a celebration. My greatest memory was on my 18th bday I came back to my room from getting ready for the day and there were 18 pumpkins, a carving knife, and a carving book (specially designed by a local) for my bday. I love pumpkins and carving, there was also a note that said if you find a fairy godmother have her turn one of these into a car for you. It was one of the best memories, plus 13 years later I still have the knife and that book is somewhere. Just used the knife to carve with my kids, they like my knife too. Happy Halloween everyone.
