happy monday! this week over at BBTB2 it is  the super duper and oh so sweet caroles turn to host.
her challenge for us was to use the zigzag  cut from plantin schoolbook be sure to head on over to the blog and check out the awesome ways the rest of  the dt has used this cut and play along with us. remember if you dont have this cartridge to play along thats ok find a similiar cut from another cart and use that instead.
i made a thank you card using the zigzag  as stems for the flowers. i also used plantin for the flowers and leaves. thanks and a bunch (which is on the inside of the card) are from walk in my garden cartridge. i just quick hand cut the grass. added a little colorbox fluid chalk  and added kaiser kraft pearls to centers of flowers. i used acrylic paint ( a tip i got from our carole, thank you girl! ) to dot the flowers . paper is my minds eye.
thanks much for stopping by my blog and as always your comments are greatly appreciated. have a happy crafty rest of day :) XXXshelly

This is why I love the rick rack design because there are so many ideas spawned from the simple zig zag. I love how you've create stems, leaves and flowers.
Great colors, and papers. Love it.
