                                                      happy thursday :)
this week over at TKJ their theme is spring. i saw this CUTEST EVER burlap gift bag  on this blog here..kim duran..omg you must go see her blog ! i dont have burlap and would love to know if she cut this herself or if she actually found burlap envelopes.... so.. i was very much inspired by her creation. i wondered if i dont have burlap whats the next best thing that i DO have.. and a TA DA moment hit me. the cute cotton drawstring bags i purchased from the kraft outlet! yes!!!
first, i inked my bag with color box fluid chalk. then heat set it. then i added spun sugar and honey distress stickles. the very cute fairy ct is from prima ,sweet fairy paper pack. the flower is made from  a  couple of hero arts that i glued the centers together, then applied spun sugar stickles to. added ribbon lace and button. the for you are just stickers i used fabric glue to make sure they stay on.
now wouldnt this just be cute to add either a little sweet gift to. how about some flower bulbs with a cute little note saying friends are the flowers in the garden of life. :), lottery tickets... the possibilities are endless and if you have other ideas as to how this can be used let me know!
thanks so much for stopping by today, dont forget to check out kims blog and TKJ too! great inspiration and ideas/tutorials over there. have a super rest of day :) xxxshelly

Hi Shelly! I am flattered that you were inspired by my burlap gift pockets for your creation. How clever to use the drawstring bags!

I am on my way to send an email to you regarding how I created the burlap pockets. They are super easy!

OMGoodness, isn't this just the cutest thing?? What a fabulous use for the Kraft Outlet drawstring bags. Totally inspired by this! Now I need a bag, or some burlap!
thanks so much for sharing this with us at the Kraft Journal.
