happy wednesday :) this week our challenge over at WW is "fun with folds". that is to make a card other than shaped or A2 type.
i decided to make 2 cards for this challenge.
the first is called a pop~up stage card. i found it on splitcoaststampers. instead of me trying to explain myself just click ~>here<~ and you will get the tutorial from kim score.
it looks a little intimidating but i swear its super~duper easy, otherwise i wouldnt have made one ;)
the front /closed
slide the band off to open
oh, make sure if you use sparkly glue stuff, wait until it dries completely
before you close this . trust me! ( a not out of the ordinary duh moment for me lol)
details: my cricut and winterwoodland cartridge.( see how i utilized the negative cut for the deer on the next card)
MS doily lace punch, SU stamp, liquid applique, stickles, colorbox fluid chalk
memorybox paper and SU card base (handsome hunter)
now for my 2nd card i made a Z fold card. mary over at cardztv ( theres a link on my sidebar) has awesome video tutorials on this plus other fold cards. be sure to check her out if you havent yet. thank you mary!
front of card
see how the top looks like a z
remember i told ya i used the negative cut from the reindeer
the "inside" of the card where you can write something personal

details: my cricut and winterwoodland (deer, tag and seasons greetings) and jasmine (corners) cartridges
sizzix and marvy punch (snowflakes), SU stamped sentiment
rhinestone, stickles and colorbox fluid chalk.
paper sei card base SU (handsome hunter)
thanks so much for your visit today. your comments are always appreciated. have a crafty rest of day and be sure to pop on over to the WW blog and see what the rest of the DT has created for us. be sure to play along in our fun folds challenge too! we have another sweet sponsor.

I almost forgot that I had to comment on both cards in the same post since they are both on one post. Ina any case, that scene on the inside of the first card...stunning! Love the dimension & uniqueness.
Absolutely brilliant!!!
