happy monday! this week over at bbtb2 our delightful rebekah has chosen our theme to be gratitude..make a card or project for someone or something you are thankful for. be sure to check out the rest of the dts simply awesome samples for this week :) and be sure to play along with us too we love when you do!
for this i project i recycled a coin roll to make a super simple yet pretty little gift packet.. you can use any size coin roll i just happened to have a penny one sitting on my craft desk.
i painted the entire thing with distress crackle paint picket fence then added distress crackle paint in rock candy over that. then i inked it up a tad.i also used some sticky adhesive tape on the inside bottom to keep it closed. i added a tiny lace piece to the edge.
i love the look of this. i used accent essentials for the flower.
and opposites attract for the hat pin. i added one of those packs of instant flavored coffee and some sprigs using memory thread (you can find this in your cross stitching section. i found mine at hobby lobby i know michales carries it also) the gorgeous merlot colored crinkle ribbon is from 3girlsjam.
the stamp is from whimsical designs. and the butterfly is a martha punch.
thanks so much for stopping by your sweet comments always leave me warm and smiling :) thank you for that! :) happy crafting! xxxshelly
