whimsical designs "all about love"
happy wednesday! this weeks challenge over at whimsical designs is to make a project or card with a love theme. use the word love, hearts, sentiment etc. be sure to go check out the lovely projects from the rest of the super sweet dt. and play along with us we have a great sponsor this week. dilly bean stamps is offering one random winner 3 digis. how cool is that!
i chose to make a card for someone.
i painted a burlap piece with acrylic paint, just wanting to try something different instead of plain burlap. i wanted to see if i could pretty it up. i like the end result :) i added a couple of pearls also
i added a paper doily behind the burlap piece. added a couple of stick pins and gorgeous ribbon from 3girlsjam using my bowmaker from them. im telling you you will love this ribbon and the bow maker.. its my favorite tool! i hated using ribbon because i couldnt tie a bow to save my a$$! now ..well just look what i can do ;)

Shelly ~ Simply STUNNING, GORGEOUS and totally elegant! I LOVe the distressed edges, the painted burlap(clever.the papers and oh my the bow!! Simply PERFECT!! I have one of those or actualy 2 of them and I still struggle! Awesome card!!!
This is really neat. I really like the whole "shabby chic" feel, but I can never seem to execute it as well as I would like. Thanks for the inspiration!
