whimsical designs "anything goes"

happy wednesday :)  today is the reopening of whimsical wednesdays challenges. i hope youve been over and met the rest of the design team :)
to start things off were doing an anything goes challenge for the week. see how easy this is ;) be sure to share your creations with us we'd so love that!  :)

for my first project i made some cute little spool ornaments. these are super easy to make. i went christmasy with mine but  you can use any ribbons, fibers or paper for any holiday or gift giving reason.

i got my spools from hobby lobby. i painted all but one with distress stain. you could leave them all natural, paint with acrylic paints whatever your heart desires. then i added ribbons and twine and lace and  rhinestones etc . for the holders i just tied a knot at the ends, plopped some hot glue in the center holes and pushed them into the holes with a toothpick. i just noticed one of the spools in the back was hiding for this photo shoot. i took a strip of paper and adhered it and added some little buttons. sorry i cant take another pic but these have already been packed away with the rest of my christmas decorations.
these were very quick to make but wouldnt these make a sweet hostess gift :)

thanks so much for visiting me today ,your sweet words always make me smile, thank you for that. hope ive inspired you to share your projects with us.have a great rest of day :) xxxshelly
