alter it with whimsical wednesdays

happy wednesday:) are you ready for another fun challenge :) this week over at WWC were challenging you to alter something :) one of my fave things to do. be sure to check out the rest of the dts very awesome projects as always you will be amazed :) and be sure to share your projects with us we love when you do!
we have another generous sponsor V's sweet ideas who are offering our winner a $10.00 gift certificate to their store. thanks so much v's :)
im entering this over at dl.art where diane is having a fun anything goes linky party this month be sure to stop by her blog  i know shed love it if you did :)
for this challenge i altered a tin can

i sprayed the can with some sealer, then painted with acrylic paint (white and sand and gold) added some burlap ribbon and tweed ribbon. then i hot glued this on a coaster that i inked then added moss and flowers

i glued two mini claypots added some moss inside forming a little nest with it , and teensy bird eggs
then glued a birdie on the pot.
i added this gazing ball i made  by gluing together some wood spindles  and dowel caps (hobby lobby) i also painted them roughly. the ball is a clear marble i colored with alcohol ink, glued it atop. super easy but hella cute eh:)
i took a mini envie and added a tea bag. i adore these cutsie envies the tea bag fits perfectly inside. i just closed it with a glue dot.stamped it with random bird stamp and added the tag using one of the stamps from the everyday sentiments set.
hope ive inspired ya some :) thanks so much for the visit your sweet comments always make mem smile, thank you for that! happy craftin! cant wait to see your project!xxxshelly

Shelly, you are rocking these altered projects and totally turning me into a hoarder. I now have 3 cans and two huge Quaker Oats containers stashed in the closet waiting for a spark to go off in my brain. I absolutely love what you did with this! Looks like a lot of work and thought went into it. Those little bird eggs are adorable!
