happy friday! i hope your thanksgiving was an enjoyable one. time to relax now and get some crafty time in :) be sure to play along with us we love when you do! the rest of the dt over at cardztv were busy busy making sweet projects for you to feast your eyes upon. my project was a quick one but something i thought our thanksgiving guests would appreciate.
i whipped up homemade caramel sauce. to find a recipe just go to pinterest or google. it's really simple and quick to make up , tastes sooooo much better than store bought stuff and no yucky preservatives! plus makes an awesome gift!
i found these tall cellophane bags at hobby lobby. they fit 2 granny smith apples perfectly with room to add a tag and twine. i twisted then used a bread tie then tied mine with some paper ribbon. for my jar , i buy a specific brand of hot fudge sauce wash and save the jars to reuse. you can use a mason jar or whatever suits ya. i glued a piece of gingham cloth to the top to hide the label . tied with twine and more of the paper ribbon.
i used a stamp from cardztv merry everything set on a paper doily die cut.to attach i use double sided tape. tied a lil twine around the jar. easy peasy yet a sweet gift. i made one for each of our thanksgiving dinner guests.
you can purchase this awesome step set ~> here<~
thank you so much for stopping by for a visit. your sweet comments always make me smile. thank you for that too! happy crafting, shelly
