cricut cardz challenges

happy wednesday :) this week over at CCC mary gave us an anything goes theme. be sure to pop on over and check out the awesome creations by the rest of the fab DT.

i wasnt thinking...and instead of making a card, hence cricut CARDZ challenge ( geez how long have i  been on this DT .duh lol) . i made a pillow pocket hanger. if youd like the template i got it from here . 

for mine i used my cricut and home accents ( swirls, flowers and bird) cartridge.

for my anything goes i made 2 animal cracker boxes. i got this great easy to follow tutorial right here.

for mine i added a cute lil bear die from GOKREATE.

hero arts pearl hearts colorbox fluid chalk  paper by my minds eye. instead of animal crackers i added ghetto bears as i call them ( store brand version of teddy grahams) :)

creative visions

happy thursday!  hope you had fun at the blog hop yesterday at crafty visions!!

 over at creative visions its my first turn to host :)  dont you just love how each day a different design team girl  showcases a different stamp and project for you. i think its a really cool idea. 

for my project i made a cute fun set for your little fisherman. 

i used the Hooked on Fishing stamp set  for this. be sure to pick this set up. pop on over to the blog and you'll find a link on the sidebar to the store.

 first i made a little tackle box by covering a pre~made box with paper. i used su ink pads in  bordering blue,  red riding hood and black. also used colorbox fluid chalk dark brown.

then i  altered a mini bag using the worms from the set..how cute are they!!! the fishing pole is a craft pick i colored with colorbox fluid chalk added a tiny button for the reel and some string and used a wood bead for the bobber. inside you can add gummy worms  or a small container of real ones (eww! lol )

lastly what better catch of the day can there  be than goldfish crackers!! yummy goodness!!!! i just filled a zip  bag up , used my cricut and storybook cartridge ( the marquee topper ) applied some wacky tape to keep it closed. i also used the zoobaloo cartridge for the fishies . paper is by crate.

for my first project i have made a get well card using some of   the get well stamp set.

i also used my cricut and doodle charms cartridge ( jar. branch and leaves)  along with design studio (to weld the jars to create the shaped card)) 

when i cut the jars in ds it left a tab on the bottom of one of the jars, so i added a bit of wacky tape to that and adhered it to the underside of the mini bag that way once the bags contents are used the recipient can pull the card off and display it . inside the bag i added a packet of instant soup which i added a tag with cooking instructions, tea bags, small pack of crackers and cough drops.

i didnt frou~frou up the bag, just added a tag from cuttlebug and another stamp from the get well stamp set.

my extras include cloud9 raindots and colorbox fluid chalk

bittenbythebug2 and technique tuesday

happy monday!  well off to the new week and of course that means  new stuff from  BBTB2 YAY YAY! heather's doing such  a great job with BBTB  dont ya think :)  be sure to stop by and play along with us  its not only fun for the DT to see what each other comes up with for the week but also to see what you can do for us :)

were very fortunate to have Technique Tuesday as  our sponsor. we were sent the cutest lil stamp set to use .. along with that heather chose for us to use flourish3 from stretch your imagination cartridge.

so for my card...which i had so much fun working on...the deer, butterflies, mushrooms, flowers and sentiment are all from the stamp set called oh deer. ( theres a few other things included with this set too)  i adore this set!! clear stamps and they stamp so perfectly.

so where the heck is the flourish we were supposed to use..well, its what the flowers are growing on :) i cut 2 and just glued them down then stamped and cut out those sweet little flowers . pretty eh :) 

i made a cute lil button sun by punching a 1 3/4 inch circle then i traced around the button, snipped around glued the button on and wah lah!  sweet . my fabulous paper is by memorybox. i added a tad of stickles memorybox pearls and colored  all the stamped images with colorbox fluid chalk.i also cut some paper and made a grassy hill . hope you like this one :) thank you big time for stopping by for a visit i love company :)

happy friday! hope your week was a good one :) this week over at PCC mary has chosen the theme of anything goes. i needed a card for my mom for her birthday so thats what this card is for. i got the layout idea from ellen hutsons in the classroom. i love this place :)

i used memorybox  gossamer paper, the humming bird stamp is SU i colored with colorbox fluid chalk and added a wee bit of diamond stickles. i used a teensy sprinkle of flowersoft to the inside of the flower.  added a couple of basic grey oplaline pearls and ribbon. i also used martha stewart doily lace punch. thanks so much for taking a peek here have a fun crafty weekend! cricut cardz spring!

happy wednesday! hope your day is or has been  blissful :) this week our awesome dt leader mary over at CCC has chosen a spring theme for us. oh yeah baaby  im hearing bees a buzzin birds a chirpin  and the warm sun calling my name :)

actually at the moment i hear 3 of my 4 kitties driving me bonkers with their crying and meowing telling me its treat time. so ill get this post done (quickly) so i can quiet them down.. im the one  in control here when are they going to learn that ;) now on to those treats.. err i mean my post!

for this i used stretch your imagination (bird/watering can) and walk in my garden (daisies)  cuttlebug ( daisy border)

the awesome paper was gifted to me by my favorite crafting buddy  and fellow paper fanatic rose   , its k&co lemondrop. thanks rose youre the best!  the sentiment and image on the watering can are  from SU   the little heart notes is a memory box stamp. i added cloud9 raindots. the images were all cut on white cardstock then i inked the color on with colorbox fluid chalk. thanks so much for popping in have a great rest of day :) xxx shelly

happy wednesday!  hope your week has been good so far and hey its a new week at CCC so it just got better right! ;) this week our challenge is set by our lovely claire who also is our sponsor for this week :)  the challenge..make your own flowers. be sure to head on over to the blog and see the pretty flowers the rest of the ladies have made, plus join in the fun.  for mine i just used a 1 inch circle punch crumpled it  cut some slits pulled one of the petals off.. ok actually i cut too close to the center on one, while i was inking it up it fell off..after grring  and son of a bit.......a minute i decided now isnt that stupid of me so i tossed that aside   punched another circle( geesh now wasnt that hard ! lol) slit it properly then  looked over at the sad lone flower i had cursed, that weirdly  landed right atop my paper in a perfect spot..it the one on the top left ,and proceeded to cut a petal off each . ta da my flowers. i added a kaiser kraft pearl to each center. martha stewart punch for butterflies. SU sentiment and cricut and jasmine cartridge for the corners. paper is my minds eye. simple simple. hope ya got a tad of inspiration here :) thanks so much for checking this out . have a super dee dooper day .. oh crap ..  now ya know  i watched barney today  ..shakes head in shame  ;)

BBTB2 a childs year

happy monday! this week over at BBTB2 it's my turn to set our challenge. i just recieved a childs year an oh my  this is a MUST have cartridge!  for this challenge i chose either the girl or boy cut from page 36 of the users manual. man it was hard to choose there are just so many awesome images on this cart. be sure to head on over to the blog and see what awesome eye candy the rest of the dt has created for us. i am still  astounded every week by their talent and creativity.

for my simple simple  card...i used the girl cut and added butterflies from a martha stewart punch. the beautiful paper is by memorybox (gossamer line)  i added some colorbox fluid chalk and basic grey opaline pearls . for the inside i added a cute little saying that i thought of and a packet of seeds. an easy but sweet note  card for that special friend. thanks so much for hanging here a few  i appreciate all your sweet comments  have a great day :) XXXshelly

happy wednesday :) this week marys  challenge for us  over at CCC is to make a gatefold card. for mine i chose to use the cute as ever froggy and hearts  from the sweet hearts cartridge. 
my extras include colorbox fluid chalk buttons rhinestones and pearls . the gorgeous paper is stampin up.  
i chose not to use a sentiment i just thought the inside was enuff said :) its intended for a man to give to a lady and we all know men arent known much for words but can surly make a statment with the few they do use :)   altho  if ya have any great punny suggestions let me know!
