i chose the word love, yep you know im quite the sappy creature. stupid me ;) so..... what i did was make a grapevine entwined hearts wreath thingy . ok the vines were already shaped into hearts i just shoved the little one into the bigger ones innerds :) but i did decorate them :)
oh and see the pretty crocheted flowers my friend and old design team leader leah made those sweet things i just added buttons :)
the butterflies are cuttlebug. i didnt emboss them i thought they were pretty enuff just with the fab paper. i did use colorbox fluid chalk on the edges then the pink one i used the cutest boy ever (tim holtz) distress stickles in spun sugar.
the brown paper flower i made using kraft colored wrapping paper . i punched circles then dampened the paper twisted them up then let them dry, with the help my heat gun of course im too impatient to wait most of the time.
then i gently pulled them apart, stacked them and pierced a hole through the centers. added a teensy brad that you cant see. fiddled with the petals til it looked like i wanted it. thats it. oh i did add that glitzy spun sugarness to it too :) isnt that pink butterfly pretty :)
i computer generated the saying, oh there goes the sappy part of me rearing its stupid head ...how does one make that go away!?
the ribbon in the corner is paper wraphia ribbon (purchased from the kraft outlet, theres a link on my sidebar, great lil store for that kraft goodiness :) i again used the glitzyspritz on it. added a couple of heart pins and some basic grey pearls.hope ive inspired you with my project this week. again be sure to stop by ww get your word and share with us :) thanks so much for visiting me today i really appreciate it and your kind words :) have a great rest of day :) xxxshelly
