bittenbythebug2

happy monday :) this week over at BBTB2 our  super creative gal on wheels jeri  ( traveling around the states in her rv are you as jealous as i am! ;)  has chosen our challenge . create a 3D box using tagsbagsboxesandmore cartridge. if you dont have that one then use any other cartridge theres several that have gift boxes on them.

i used the heart gift box from TBBM

i hand made the flowers using a circle punch from kraft colored  paper and wraphia ribbon  for the greenery behind them
adding distress stickles (spun sugar and stormy sky) and colorbox fluid chalk.
the butterflies are  martha stewart punch i also added the same distress stickles to them

heres a top view. i added basicgrey pearls and some dot accents . i used colorbox fluid chalk all alone the box edges
i added a lace border which i spritzed with homemade glitzyspritz (my word)  in spun sugar buttons and hat pins. hope my box has inspired you be sure to check out the cute boxes the rest of the dt have fancied up for us :) and play along too we love seeing your awesome projects :)
thanks so much for stopping by your comments always make me smile. i appreciate that :) have a great rest of day :) xxxshelly

Love that we both used the same box from the cartridge and they are 100% different from eachother! That's what is so great about our challenges :) Love your beautiful box!

Oh Shelly, you outdid yourself on this one. This is the most gorgeous box ever. I love all the beautiful embellishments you've added. Thanks for mentioning my travels. We're in Virginia right now visiting the newest grandbaby and he's absolutely gorgeous. Looks exactly like my son did. I feel like I'm holding him again.
