this week over at WW our challenge is to create a card or project adding texture. fun eh!
for my project this week i picked up an unfinished wood frame and colored it with tim holtz distress stains. love this stuff! i used a sweet leblanche stamp colored in slightly with distress inks. i then covered with utee (ultra thick embossing enamel) this looks like a piece of wood too dontcha think.i tucked a folded paper doily behind it
i added a few buttons and prima flowers
i also included a piece of lace and beautiful crinkle ribbon ( prariebirdboutique) the hearts i cut using my cuttlebug, they are aida cloth. added a button and heart pins.
i chicken scratched ( my own handwriting) the sentiment and added a couple heart buttons.
sure hope ya enjoyed my lil project :) be sure to play along with us this week we love seeing your take on the challenges.
